A lovely site, our first visit and camping experience. Only 3 showers but this was plenty never had to wait and always hot and clean. Fridge and power points in the laundry to keep ice blocks if you don't have electric and somewhere to dry your hair.
The weather was pretty foul and extremely windy, but owner patrolled park to check everyone was ok.
A small children's play area for the little ones. No shop but a van calls twice daily with bread, milk, muffins, eggs.
A recommended stay, park isn't too big so nice and quiet.
Site has a small number of static caravans but is separate from camping.

Just come back from a great holiday.
The site is excellent. We were given a warm welcome, after a long drive. We were shown and advised on the sites facilities and directed to our electric hook up pitch within the family field.
Although 4 showers may not seem a lot, we never had to wait. The same with the toilets. All the showers were spotless, no matter the time of day.
The showers included a family room. The blocks were warm and there was always hot water. There were no muddy floors.
The washing machine and dryer were spot on.
The playground could be easily viewed from most pitches. All the children seemed to play nicely together and everyone seemed to look out for each others children.
We were not rushed off site, when we were leaving. As there was no-one on our pitch straight after us we were told to take our time. This was much appreciated as it was pouring down.
The only problem is if its windy you know about it. But that is West Wales. You do get used to it though.
Overall the site is A+ and we will be going back.
The positioning of the site may seem a little remote. St Davids is about a 10 minute drive where you can find, fish and chips, a supermarket, tourist info amongst other things. All other towns seemed to take 45 minutes (at least)
There are lots of beautiful beaches surrounding the site, in particular Whitesands (great for surfers). Get there early!
The roads are an experience ( narrow with no markings) but we never sat in a traffic jam.
In conclusion we were very pleased with the site and fell in love with Pembrokeshire. We even had some nice weather! So much so I felt I had to write a review!

An excellent short stay family site with plenty of room for the children to play safely and within site of the tent. There was also a separate ball games field where new friends were made and other campers were not annoyed by footballs hitting tents etc. The showers and toilet block was very clean whilst we were there and we didn't have to queue at any time. There was plenty of hot water. The only thing the site lacked was a small shop for basics but St Davids and a large supermarket are only a short drive away. The site was quiet, peaceful (apart from 1 night when the local rugbyclub had a function and must have had the doors opened) but nothing from the other campers. There were several dogs on the site but they were well behaved. We shall certainly be returning.

Spent nearly two weeks on this site with my family (including two year old son and four year old daughter) and was very impressed. The manager, Alan was very helpful and friendly and the facilities on the site were superb - the hottest water ever! Whilst being out in the country, a late night supermarket was five minutes drive away and bread, milk, fruit supplies were delivered to the site each morning.
A quiet site and pitching our tent near the playing field was perfect for our two kids. Going back next year!
Local attractions - for families, Carew Castle had great kids activities, cost seven quid, and Scolton Manor was really interesting with more than we could fit in, the house cost four quid (prices for the whole family).
The weather was appalling but couldn't blame the campsite, still enjoyed our hols.

A welcoming spacious site with great 9-hole pitch and putt. Showers were ok but could do with a good clean. Playground fine for the kids to meet others. Went badger watching on two occasions as sets are on the grounds and nearby. Site within easy reach of St. Davids and other local towns. Whitesands is the best beach in the area for surfing and the sands! Very picturesque. St. Davids is hard to find good places to eat but would recommend booking the wine bar next to the ice cream parlour as the evening atmosphere and food was top notch! As a holiday we were lucky with the weather and had a good stay.

Stayed on this site in August and enjoyed sunshine all week long. We were greeted by Alan, the owner, who was welcoming and helpful. The site is about 3 miles from St Davids and the same distance from the beautiful Abereiddy. Initially I thought we had landed in the middle of nowhere but the children enjoyed the cycle ride into St Davids and didn't find it too taxing. Showers were clean, warm and free and we didn't see a queue apart from when all the surfers came back from Whitesand in the early evening. This is the perfect place for children with a great play area and ball field and golf course. They entertained themselves for hours while in full view of our tent. The campsite was quiet, spacious and had facilities for washing clothes and freezing ice packs. We did see prettier campsites with views of the sea but they had nothing for the children to do apart from play close to the edge of a cliff! We will definitely go here again for the friendly welcome, peaceful location and the fact that our children had so much freedom and facilities to keep them entertained all week long. We loved it.

This is the second time that we have stayed at this campsite and for several reason not by choice. I was hoping that things had improved but I was wrong. The campsite was full and you had to queue for the showers in the evening as there is only three (between both male & female). Worse still is the fact that one had a kinked hose and was nearly useless. The gents washroom had two of the three hot taps without tops fitted and a do not use sign. Both the toilet and shower blocks were dirty and no sign of anyone ever cleaning them. The rule of dogs to be kept on leads at all times was never enforced. There was also a lot of noise into the early hours (not just talking). It's a shame really because with some maintenance and a larger cleaner shower/toilet block this would be a great site.

We booked here at the last minute, everything else was booked. The campsite is small, and separated into statics and tents. The tents are in two rows of numbered pitches and there is plenty of space in each pitch. We stayed in the second row, but I think the smart campers stayed in the first which was more sheltered, however we had the better view! There is a separate area for dog walking, ball games etc which is a good idea, and the pitch and putt looked good. We went with our children who liked the small area, and the campsite is small enough that you don't feel you will lose your children. The staff were very friendly and in general it is a good campsite, although not necessarily a great one, as it is to well organized and out of the way to either be wild or practical, and does not have the facilities (pool, big play areas, shop) to be self contained. As a last minute booking I was perfectly happy.

Well we were lucky in that the week we stayed there there was wonderful weather all but one day. The campsite was lovely, plenty of room for the tent, and ours is large (6 man). There is a separate field for all ball games which again is good. There is a golf course which is reasonably priced and never too busy. The toilets and showers are okay, there are enough so that there isn't a large queue and always plenty of hot water. However it is quite a way from the beach and town and there is no shop, but apart from that it was a very peaceful and enjoyable stay

We returned to Tretio for the second year running primarily for it's location and because of the peace and tranquillity it offers. There’s a great children’s play area along with a good sized playing field for ball games etc.
There’s no shop on site, however the milkman drives on site most mornings, stocked with fresh milk, eggs, orange juice and bacon etc. The showers (which are unusually free!) and toilet block were maintained really well this year, given that we were there the first 2 weeks of the school holidays the site was quite busy most of the time. Would definitely recommend this friendly site to families. A visit to Blue Lagoon at Aberieddy and the Farmers Arms in St Davids for really good food is a must! Hope you enjoy as much as we did!
