 Delightful. Even though it was end of July and therefore 'high season', the site was peaceful and the least expensive on our tour. Toilet block very close and clean. We walked into Burford twice - evening and morning - and despite tourist prices was most enjoyable.
This is a tremendous site and we will definitely visit again.
A real find - don't tell too many people!

What a lovely site run by lovely people!
On arrival I was delighted by the flowers and greenery and space! After pitching I was still delighted as we had wild roses screening us from our neighbours. A lot of care and attention to detail makes this site very special. I have stayed in too many impersonal sites where you are lined up in rows; Wysdom has none of this no matter where you pitch.
Slight road noise, but lack of children screaming (as they do these days) more than makes up for it.
Great loos and showers too.
Excellent local facilities and shops nearby in Burford + Burford Garden Centre is a must and lots of National Trust properties nearby, we visited Hidcote Manor, Upton House, Snowshill and my favourite Waddesdon.
Enjoy. We did and will again - this is a real find!

Beautiful site, first class facilities, warden could not have been more helpful. I had a problem with my front window and he brought his toolkit and fixed it in no time!
Road noise no bother as we live fairly close to main road anyway!
Burford lovely but expensive. Nearest decent supermarket is Whitney. Town only a short walk but beware the hill when you are walking back up!
Somehow it did not seem so bad when we finally left the pub at about 1 in the morning.
You MUST visit the Cotwsold Wildlife park. A great day out. Some stunning villages and scenery.
Went to Oxford a couple of times on the bus. But we had to get a bus to Whitney and then another to Oxford but not too long a journey. Didn't mind as we used our bus passes. Submitting this review in April 2011 as we intend to return in July this year.

It is an excellent little site. Well laid out and the site is well planted with trees and plants that separate the pitches. The toilet / shower block is adequate and is very clean with powerful showers. The only reason you have to pay 20p to have a shower is to activate it. I expect to change it would cost a lot of expense. Using a 20p token was not a problem at all.
It was a short walk into Burford and all the lovely little Cotswolds villages like, Bourton on the Water, Stow on the Wold, Morton in the Marsh, Abingdon are all a short drive away and are a must to visit. We will definitely return to this site

This is certainly a cosy site. We had a wonderful warm welcome from the wardens, who could not have been more helpful. The site is beautifully planted and neatly laid out. It seems very secure, and it ideally placed for strolling into Burford, or exploring the Cotswolds by car.
The pitches are flat, facilities are convenient and kept very clean. The showers are particularly good - power showers giving a good 5 minutes for only 20p. The camp is well lit in the evening, until late. Some people might find the site a little too enclosed, and the pitches too close to each other for a long stay, and there are no scenic views. However, because there are no children there, it was pretty quiet when we stayed (apart from some noise from the children in the school during evening football practice one night).
We thought the site was very good value for money, and would probably really suit people who like to feel secure and safe and who enjoy a friendly 'community' feel. While we there, there were very strong winds, but we barely felt them in this sheltered little enclave. The facilities are so central, that it would be difficult to get very wet going there in the rain either. TV reception was OK, but not great. We also saw quite a few feral cats running back and forth through the site. It didn't bother us at all as we like cats, but some people might not like this.

Just returned from a two night stay. What a lovely site, clean well maintained and the wardens are superb. The pitches are of a very generous size and we had no problem moving our 7.5mtr m/home into place.
We will certinaly be going back for another visit.
The lovely town of Burford is worth the 20 minute walk. Quite a lot of places to eat with varies menues and prices.

This site is one of the best I have been to with baskets of flowers and a wonderful atmosphere each van has its own bay with plenty of room for your awning. Gwen and Steve give you a great welcome and are pleased to help you if you need it. There are no children to kick balls around and so your stay will be relaxing.

We spent two nights here. Great without the curse of the 'screamers'. (Complete contrast to our next stop, Clumber Park, which seemed as if they were hosting the world's most noisiest kid competition). The village of Burford was very pleasant, and we would recommend the Indian restaurant-it has some quite unusual choices, as well as the more traditional. The owners were very friendly, as were the 'natives' who offered to help when my reversing technique fell short! We wished we lived nearer to the site, as the peace and quiet were priceless.

A really lovely, good value site. The owners were really friendly, as were the site 'regulars'. Wonderful not to hear 'the screamers' as the site is adults only. The toilet and showers were terrific and very clean. Decent size pitches too. The Indian restaurant in town was excellent. We will be returning.

If you want to stay in clean, friendly, "garden style" surrounding THEN THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE. I just came home from this wonderful Adult camp site (just no children) and have to say, to date, it is the best I have stayed on. Gwen and hubby run a beautiful place but they are so friendly you almost feel that you are visiting relatives (the nice ones).
With two ladies loos and same for gents, elsan point, two showers (20p) for several minutes, place to wash up and always copious hot water it may not rival bigger commercial sites but for the amount of pitches its perfect. Small, cosy and home from home! When you drive in you really feel your entering a beautiful garden, that is exactly what it is, takes your breath away. Just off Burford roundabout and next to the Golf club it is handy for everywhere yet quite peaceful with only a little road noise.
Just hope it doesn't become too popular so I can't get in when I want to go back! Would certainly award it a gold star
Just one complaint though, Burford town itself is mega expensive so take your food with you
