This site is in a quiet, peaceful location and we found it perfect for a chilled, 'back to basics' weekend.

You will need your own facilities though there is a toilet. This is a no frills site but the price reflects this.

The lake is lovely and the owner does allow fishing by arrangement. It is only a couple of miles from Wainfleet where there are shops, pubs, a really good chippy and of course Batemans brewery where they do brewery tours. Skegness is only about 5 miles away.

The quiet country lanes are perfect for cycling.

We went in a group and had the site to ourselves, sitting out in the evening chatting and stargazing. The weather was lovely and we didn't want to leave.
