 The site is located just across the very quiet road to the sea and set amongst a sea of greenhouses.
The site is long and relatively thin but with individual plots all of a good size for your vehicle.
The site boasts a free indoor heated pool and in the summer a large outdoor pool. It also has a wonderful restaurant where we had a fantastic Christmas Day lunch.
The facilities were always clean but possibly doing with some small amounts of maintenance.
The staff throughout the site were wonderful, hard working, cheerful and welcoming.
The beach like the whole of coastline is not great. Not helped by some plant on the beach giving out prickles getting in the soles of your feet and dogs paws.
Go along the road eastwards 3k to Calahondra where the beach is much better and sea crystal clear. Plus a lovely beachside cafe.

Don Cactus Camping near Motril on the Costa Tropical in Granada province southern Spain is across a quiet road from the beach.
With great facilities for camper vans, motorhomes and camping it´s a great kid friendly spot which is open all year round. Loved the tots toilet area.
We were impressed by the bi-lingual kids clubs, entertainment, location and on-going improvements. All in all one of our favourites on the Spanish south coast.
The swimming pool in innovative and unique with dinosaurs, slides and palm trees. Good bar with wifi and computers, there´s even a cash point on site.
