Le Cap d'Agde is possibly one of the largest naturist communities in the World, at peak season catering for over 50,000 people/week. It consists of a small town (nude or clothes optional) with restaurants (not expensive), bars, clubs, supermarkets, banks etc and a fabulous 2 km long naturist beach.
The camp-site is part of the community and totally naturist. There are numerous toilet/shower blocks but some of the toilets are not nice (Turkish). Communal showers with partitions and mostly a good supply of hot water. Varies a lot, depending on where in the campsite you are.
You are not allowed to use a car inside the campsite after midnight, but there are free shuttle Mini Mokes to take you back to your pitch if you don't want to walk.
Many people, including ourselves return year after year. One will either love it or hate it.
