 Excellent camping in a quiet secluded site.
Showers were always hot and were kept clean.
Charging available, fridge and freezer.
Washing up sink and fresh drinking water.
Very tidy and clean and would recommend.
Friendly welcome and fellow campers.

I recently stayed at Century House Campsite and honestly, it was a great experience from start to finish. The site has a really welcoming, relaxed atmosphere that makes it perfect whether you’re going for a quiet break or a bit of adventure.
The pitches are well kept and spacious, so you don’t feel cramped in, and the surroundings are beautiful—ideal for switching off and enjoying a bit of nature. The facilities were clean and well maintained, which always makes a big difference when camping.
One of the standout things was how friendly and helpful the owners/staff were. They were always on hand if needed and made the whole stay feel more personal.
It’s also in a great location, with plenty to do nearby, whether that’s walking, exploring local areas, or just enjoying the countryside.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend Century House Campsite to anyone looking for a relaxed, well-run place to stay. I’ll definitely be returning.

Century house is one of our favourite campsites.
Short distance from home. Quiet rural setting five minutes drive from Southport.
Good facilities spotless and Dee is always very welcoming.
Camping and Caravan Club members only site.
We love it here.

Nice and quiet site, semi rural and a short drive from Southport and all its amenities.
Spotless clean and good shower unit (£1 for 6 mins on a meter. )
Nice and safe for families and doggy friendly too.

Laverick Hall Caravan Site - Lancaster
This touring site offers spectacular views towards the Lake District and Morecambe Bay, with Blackpool Tower also in the distance, yet located just over 3 miles from Junctions 34 and 35 of the M6 motorway. Visitors will find just 10 electric pitches for motorhomes and touring caravans, with access to the superfast Wifi, toilets with sinks, a shower room and fresh water taps. Dogs are allowed and there is a designated field for walks.
The local village of Halton is a mile away from the site, offering a convenience store, newsagent, pharmacy, post office and fish and chip shop. The market town of Carnforth is 3 miles away, with its train station (featured in the 1945 film Brief Encounter) and supermarkets. The seaside resort of Morecambe is within 5 miles and the Lake District is only 35-minutes drive. Find out more here

Yet again Dee welcomed us, for most of our stay we were the only people there making it very quiet.
The grandkids love the site as they can play on the big field on their bikes or play football / racquet games without being bothered.
The site is spotless with lots of flowers planted about.
The showers and toilet area are lovely and clean fully accessible with 6 minute shower for a £1, electric is by meter cost us about £5 for the six nights running fridge, water heater and heating (needed despite being June) on top of TV at night and the lights not sure what was left on the meter.
We will certainly be back before the years out.

Came by bicycle, lovely flat site with beautiful flowers.
Very clean showers and toilets £1 shower for 6 mins plenty for 1 adult and 1 child.
The A road has a cycle path down it. Tesco is about a mile away.
Would stay again.

A lovely quiet campsite with good facilities.
Within close distance (by car) to supermarkets and shops.

Excellent site. Flat pitches for tents.
Owners very friendly and helpful.
Lovely clean toilet/showers, with plenty of hot water.
Only a short drive to shopping complex & Southport only a 10 min drive away.
Site remained very quite during the night time.

Toilet and shower rooms very clean and checked regularly throughout the day.
