The route up from the coast to this campsite was testing for us in an 8 metre motorhome, especially so as we were travelling through a torrential rainstorm.
The access to the site is quite narrow in places, but accessible with caution. A thing to note is that the site has several large entrance gates after the first that you come across which is mainly for staff parking and reception. You have to use the intercom on the first gate to speak to reception and then access the site by one of the other gates, further along the access road, all with easier access to the site for a large vehicle.
The guy in reception was very friendly and because the site was swamped from the storm, suggested a suitable pitch for us, which was level and with hardstanding. We were very happy to pitch there.
As the weather was lovely the next day we took the opportunity to explore some of the site. It's fair to say that the pitches towards the lowest end of the site offer magnificent views over the mountainous countryside. So take stroll around the site to find your ideal available pitch before you settle.
We found the facilities to be very good and clean. The infinity swimming pool was lovely with some great views.
There is a small bar with sheltered seating outside which was nice. Fresh bread can be ordered daily.
As with most naturist sites, the other visitors where friendly and chatty. The staff all spoke excellent English and were very friendly and efficient.
We would have liked to have stayed longer, but we were doing an extended tour, and although not on a tight schedule, we had other places further south in our sights. In hindsight, we wish we had stayed here slightly longer, and missed at least one of the places further south!
