 This is a lovely campsite, in a quiet spot next to the river Vilaine. It’s at the end of the road so no passing traffic.
Lots of established trees and plenty of shade, a 5 min drive to the big supermarket and easy walking distance along the river path into town.
There is a barbecue area and a children’s play area and a well equipped camp kitchen with fridge, microwave, kettle etc.
The sanitaires are fairly basic but clean and well looked after and the pitches are a good size.
Very reasonably priced for such a good site.

A relaxed site on the banks of the river, affording lovely walks. Superb value for a useful stopover.
We had a young persons camp event in operation whilst we were there, which did not detract from peace and quiet throughout the night.

Once again, a convenient adequate site at a very reasonable rate. Everything works, electricity, CDP, water all OK. San block is limited, but useable, if a bit crowded.
Easy access, delightful riverside walks, an under rated site, well worth a visit.

Used this site for the second time as a very convenient overnight stop. Simple, adequate, comfortable. One to remember.
Lovely walk along river to town. Very good value, 14 euros for 'van, two adults, two dogs + electric hook up (10a).

Delightful site. Well kept and more than adequate for a night or longer. Super riverside walk to town or beyond. Voie vert uses the old railway bridge (1901) accessible from site.
Easy access from main routes, but watch turn at Leader super market, it is a serious turn! Site roads narrow, but OK. Long lead for hook up needed for some pitches, 9a supply. 50c per dog, so for site, 'van 2 adults, hook up and 3 dogs was 14. 50€.
Recommend this site! Needed to phone Marie to get number for gardienne - don' t bother, as she will find you in early evening, so site yourself. Sat faces basic, but OK. , could be stretched in season.

Quiet site next to river Vilaine, separated from river by footpath, and no passing traffic on road to site. Flat pitches with plenty of shade. Reasonable facilities but toilet block a little shabby. No picnic tables for cyclists.
No facilities specifically for children. Large supermarket nearby. A few restaurant/bars a short walk along riverside (though all but one closed on our visit in August).
Lovely safe cycle path along river in both directions and in quiet countryside around. Main road through Guipry is busy and not much fun on pushbikes.

A very pleasant site on the banks of the Nantes-Brest canal which would suit couples but not a lot for children really. Excellent facilities for a small municipal site with bags of free hot water in showers and wash-up area. Superb walks for the hound along the canal banks. Several eateries in area within walking distance along canal bank as is also a supermarket(with several locally made specialities) at top of Rue de camping. If you are a rail enthusiast, then right beside the site is one of the original bridges(still with it's builders plate at each end!) for the Reseau Breton and Guipry station is on the main line south from Rennes with TGVs etc to photograph. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will visit again later this year. If you want a peaceful site with basic but good facilities then well worth a stay here whilst touring in Brittany. The local council rep comes round twice a day to collect fees but only speaks French. Magnifique et tres jolie!
