We have visited this site 3 times now, and we LOVE the laid-back way it is run. We arrived, sorted ourselves out for electricity etc, and went to the pub! (The pub is 20 yards away, so it isn't difficult!) Free wi-fi so that's good, and there was enough to keep our 15 yr old granddaughter occupied - she loved the fish!

The site is exactly equidistant from our family down there, and the pub is a great place to meet up.

All in all, I would recommend this site to anyone who wants a hassle free stay

Excellent advice when booking, wonderful welcome and tips on getting in to Halifax via public transport.

Well maintained basic site which is an oasis in an industrial estate/residential area. Location great for transport and very reasonably priced site.

Location next to the brewery tap is a bonus and the regulars all friendly and helpful.

I know where I will be staying in Halifax next time!

Lovely little site hidden away amongst industrial area, very welcoming. As directions say, approach from Brighouse or you will miss the sign!

Added bonus having the pub on site, check out the massive fish tank the whole length of the bar! Lovely people.

Perfect stopover for two nights, visiting relatives in Southowram and Elland.

Would visit again.

Great location for west yorks area, toilet and hand basin basic but ok,

the pub is nice and friendly but not able to visit the brewery now, lots of real ale on offer,

friendly owner who will give you any information you need.

This is the 3rd time we have visited this campsite and every time we have had a fantastic experience.

The owners are always very accommodating and helpful. Nice little quiet campsite, with basic facilities (just toilets, wash basins and fresh water).

The on site brewery is amazing and definitely worth a visit to try the fantastic real ales.

I would highly recommended this campsite if you're looking for a nice little campsite with fantastic real ales :)

Stayed for one night to be near WildAx motorhomes for a service next morning. Basic facilities for 10 with EHU but the great attraction is the on site real ale brewery and pub which is constructed from portacabin units originally sited at the Chunnel construction site. The owner helped us settle on site and over a drink later in the evening shared motorhome experiences touring in France & Spain. The site is slightly sloping but easy to get level when parking a motorhome. Good location for exploring West Yorkshire. We will return to sample the range of real ales again

 * Extremely helpful and informative owners

* Ideally located for Huddersfield, Halifax, Bradford and the surrounding areas

* Outstanding value - 10 per night including hook up and free wi-fi

* A hidden gem / green oasis in a suburban area

* Excellent Geocaching at Ogden Waters

* A Micro Brewery on site

Facilities

As you would expect from a CL - CD point, toilets, water point

There is traffic noise as a main road is close by but no more than you would expect from a suburban location

This was our first visit to this site and the first run out for our caravan for the 2014 season. Ideal location to 'unwrap' your van for the new season

We would highly recommend this site

I have to admit this is an hidden gem. I was very impressed with the facility albeit a small site with room for 6 vans. The micro brewery was excellent and very welcoming. I attended with my family for one night 10.00 inc electric. Dog friendly. Will be certainly staying again. It is near a main road so may get some noise overnight. There is electric hookup. The site is close to a coop supermarket and Chinese takeaway.

Only been 5 times it just to nice to stay away very helpful owners and very friendly as well nothing is to much trouble (the dog loves it)

The mircobrewery is very good as well

A very good bus service to both Halifax and Huddersfield every 15 mins

Free wifi as well is a big bonus to keep in touch

The site has a couple of hard standing and four mains hook ups slight slope if you park the grass but no problem to get off

Back again soon
