 The owners are very friendly & helpful. This is a basic C. L site, but has everything you need.
There is one toilet & one shower & a washing up sink.
It is extremely good value for money & is a wonderful overnighter.
There are no local walkable shops apart from a Chinese takeaway which we didn’t use.
However, if you drive 4 or 5 miles there is a large Tesco & a bit further on a Sainsbury’s & other large retail shops.
We stayed for 3 nights so visited the large outlet site in Doncaster which was good.
We would return if in the area.

This was a perfect example of what CL s are meant to be. Unbelievable value for money and the friendliest welcome imaginable.
Facilities very basic but clean. Weakness was no local shops but a few miles took you to large Tesco and Sainsbury’s.
Would not hesitate to return.

Nice site. Flat pitches on lovely grass with nice surroundings.
One toilet which is shared with the garage next door but was spotlessly clean while we were there.
£10 / night with electric charged by meter. (we paid £1 for our two nights).
Friendly owners with a beautiful Black Lab.
We ate at the local pizza / burger bar which I wouldn't recommend and wouldn't visit again.
Would definitely use this site again.

Recently stayed here for 3 nights - nice location, owners very friendly & helpful, facilities basic - electric hookup using card for payment. Toilet emptying was in lavatory shared with men working in adjacent garage, but was very clean. Local convenience store 3 minutes walk and good Chinese takeaway 1/2 mile down road. Traffic noise from nearby motorway just audible but not intrusive.
