Had a great stay at this small certificated farm site in a peaceful part of Ulrome. It is basic but the price reflects this (£6. 50 per night for 2 adults and 1 dog)

There are no toilets/showers or EHUs. The water tap is opposite the farm house and the CDP is near the fishing pond. There are two areas that you can pitch in, one area overlooks the pond and the other area is on the opposite side of the farm track.

Both areas are level and well sheltered as they are surrounded by trees/hedging. The fishing pond belongs to the farmer and fishing is available from dawn til dusk. There is a public footpath that passes the site onto fields so dogs can have a good run around off the lead.

It takes about 15 mins to walk to the beach. In some parts, there is no path but there are wide green verges so it is safe to walk. The beach is great for finding fossils and you have views across towards Bridlington and Flamborough Head. Dogs are allowed on the beach but there are some steep steps onto the beach.

Ulrome itself has a chippy near the beach (only open at weekends) as well as a beach side cafe and beach shop. There are caravan parks in Ulrome that have shops/off licenses/laundrettes etc, if needed. There are larger shops/supermarkets at Hornsea and Bridlington, which are both a short drive away.

It is a basic site but it's a great site (if you like fishing/peace & quiet) at a great price.
