Took my girls, 6 & 10, for a short stay and had an amazing time. The weather was mixed with some very heavy downpours but we were cosy and dry in the tent and the futons were very comfy. Managed to have dinner one evening on the decking in sunshine looking at the animals and a gorgeous view across the valley.
Phone reception was perfect and the site is nicely tucked away and not too big, I could easily see the girls wherever they were in the field. The animals were a lot of fun and the girls loved helping to feed them.
Tents are nicely spaced for privacy and the kitchen and bathroom area very clean and well stocked for utensils. Owners are really friendly and don't intrude but are available if you need them.
Area is very peaceful and there is a pub a minutes walk away! We didn't try the pub ourselves but our campsite neighbours said there was a nice atmosphere and the food was great and good value.
Both my girls gave the trip 10/10 and my youngest cried when we left! Highly recommended - we will definitely be going back!
