A truly wonderful setting with such commanding views across the loch was so picturesque. The owner was extremely helpful and very friendly. We were there only for a weekend and found it quite busy, probably as the kids were still on holiday. The hard standing pitch we had was first class, some tent pitches were not so well located but more sheltered with many varied types of pitches available. The facilities were very tired looking and quite limited for the number of campers on site, but kept very clean and supplied. Dishwashing the one sink was really not enough at all, often had to wait a while. The one cold fresh water tap near the house made one feel its back to basics camping. The site felt very relaxing and cosy, a very friendly atmosphere from most of the campers. On the site are a small number of static homes and seasonal caravans, spoke to several regular campers who have been camping on this same site for well over 40 years and keep returning. A good location for walking, boating, fishing or taking in a lovely view. Being a bit new to caravanning the 5 mile drive down the narrow road to get to the site was a bit tense at times, especially when we met a logging lorry full of timber on it trailer. Would certainly recommend this site to others and would like to return.

A site in a wonderful setting, by the side of Loch Tummel with views across the Loch. £20 per night without electric. Didn't use the showers because they looked grubby. Several resident units on site, one came in at 7pm revving engine and music blasting, 6. 30am same again as he left for work, then another resident responsible for grass cutting starts strimming at 7. 30am.

The location by the loch is idyllic but the site is somewhat let down by an overall impression of shabbiness and the toilet/washing facilities are rather basic and could be cleaner.
The brown tinge to the water supply may put some people off.

An excellent site just on the loch having access to nice Woodland walk and the loch for kayaking. Unfortunately no kids playground as advertised and make sure you have supplies as the nearest shop is 7 mile east or 7 mile west. Toilets and showers were good and clean with hot running water. Beautiful scenery my 5 year old boy said it was his best holiday yet.

This site has a great location right on the shores of Loch Tummel, making it possible to camp right on the loch side. We were greeted by a friendly welcome, and shown where the facilities were located.
It cost £8 per person, 2 toilets and 2 showers for ladies and same for gents and one sink, all with plenty of really hot water. Didn't seem much, but as the statics all have their own facilities I never had to queue even on a busy weekend. Yes they could do with a bit of a clean, but I feel if you want spotless facilities with no bugs, then don't come camping!
As previous reviews have alluded to, the entrance to the site is a but of a mess, but don't let that put you off, as it's just the norm for a farm and can't be seen from the site.
Location is great, and the site is only a short drive from A9 but feels a million miles away.

Positives: superb location on the loch and not too far off the A9 if travelling north/south; friendly owner/manager; nice welcome; able to park next to tent (need to leave vehicle a short distance away if you want to camp closer to the shore in the trees).
Negative: toilets and showers need to be cleaned - this wasn't just a build of dirt on the day! It shouldn't take too long to do as in the gents there were only two loos, two showers and two sinks; it all being very snug in a Portakabin. Just not acceptable; I am happy with the most basic of facilities as long as they are clean.
General: a good number of statics and seasonal pitches; bingo and karaoke at weekends; up the road from the Queen's view on Loch Tummel; no shop or phone; don't be put off by vehicles and machinery down the entrance drive.
Should be an idyllic site but isn't; still worth a look though.

Lovely little site. Don't be put off by the entrance to the site. Level pitches and large. Did not use showers as did not look good. Views were lovely especially seeing a stag with about 30 in his herd on the other side of the loch, needed binoculars, we drove round to get better pictures. All in all the owners were very nice and did not pressure us in anyway. Statics were also very friendly. We paid £17 for 2 adults, caravan, including electric

This site is a disappointment. Yes, it’s positioned well with great views and access to the Loch. But that in itself does not make for a good site. This site is a prime example of location, location and let down.
We stayed for two nights. Would have only stayed the one had it not been for the fact there was no one on-site the day we arrived and it was closing on lunchtime the day after before I saw them. There’s one water point, which appears to draw water from the Loch. Nice if you like brown water. The water in the facilities also appears to draw water from the Loch as it was also brown. Talking of which, the facilities are portakabins, which in themselves are not a bad thing. What is inexcusable are dirty facilities. The Gents had two sinks and two urinals plus two showers. During our stay, the sinks were dirty as were the urinals. There were dead flies on the walls, hairs and what looked like soil in the urinals and the sinks had tide marks. The floor hadn’t seen a mop. While I did use the shower, avoiding looking at dead flies and goodness knows what else, my partner refused to set foot in them.
At £18 per night for two adults in a tent with hookup, how much is a view worth?

Set in beautiful countryside on Loch Tummel, this is well worth a visit. Although the site was full, the owner was so helpful & found us a little spot with a beautiful view. Friendly welcome - this is a working site, so be prepared to drive past the heavy equipment, but it will not spoil your view. Level pitches, hook ups available if required, grass pitches down to the water. Very clean facilities in portacabin - very hot water for showers & washing up. We were so lucky with the weather that we swam in the loch - it was wonderful! Lots of other campers fishing & canoeing. Clean clear water, not half as cold as we thought it might be - do be careful with children as the water shelves quite quickly & the loch is deep. Lovely walks in the woods above the site & if we had stayed for longer there were lots of other things to do - Pitlochry & Blair Atholl are close by car. We would return to this beautiful part of Scotland again.

The location of this site is lovely with amazing views across the Loch. We are a large Motorhome and to be honest the drive up to the site was a bit of a white knuckle ride and first impressions were it looked more like a building site!
Facilities are very basic and could do with a thorough clean!
Lots of statics which look like they are there fulltime but all seemed nice friendly people.
Tent people were swimming in the Loch and having a great time. If you have binoculars you can see the Red Dear across the Loch in the evenings.
This is a hard one to review as the location is so lovely but the site itself is so disappointing.
