 Nice views from pitches although it's bit of a trek through housing estates & industrial to reach it.
New toilet bock is good & well kept.
No wifi except near reception & the electric is on a pre pay app.
Struggled to get a decent TV signal.
Cafe outside of entrance does great ice creams!
Some nice walks from near entrance into the park.
The actual marina is pretty run down & looks tatty.

Have stayed here a number of times & will stay again.
Very well run site. Large pitches, beautiful surroundings & well equipped.
Great base for travel as well as being perfect for just staying & chilling.

What a little gem of a site! Approach in a large motorhome perhaps not the best as narrow roads. Security gates are a big plus though.
Facilities very clean.
Ample sized pitches although one is surrounded by trees which blocks the sunshine.
Electricity is payable online but we only used just over £5 for our stay.
Great for dogs and some lovely walks, beach not far even for the less mobile. Cafe, and pubs etc within walking distance.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay as did our dogs. They weren’t enamoured with the robotic grass cutter though!
Definitely one to go back to.

For the first time in decades we were child free to take a New Year break. Unfortunately medical emergency in family changed our plans last minute. We arrived in time to pitch up on pitch 2, unload the fat tyre e-bikes and make a ride into the sunset on the beach. We videos this and sent to family and friends as a HNY message.
Returning to the toasty warm motorhome for dinner followed by a visit to other family and a 03:30 return.
NY day we visited more family nearby.
Following day visited the nearby Boathouse Cafe for breakfast bright and early before heading home.
Facilities are unique with individual 'rooms' with loo, shower, basin and changing area. Always warm.
Very friendly, helpful staff as always.
Fair price for hook up at NewYear.
Superb location.
Love it.

3rd visit this year!
Easy online booking. You get a text the morning of your arrival with the gate codes and your pitch number.
Friendly welcome again, as always.
Good clean facilities (6 individual shower rooms with sink and toilet).
Excellent cafe (The Boathouse) just outside the site - well worth the visit for the breakfasts alone!
Easy walk (40/45 minute stroll along the beach) into Weston.
We caught the bus back this time, due to the weather. £2. 50 each (adult single) but the Number 20 only drops you at the end of the village (close to the hospital roundabout). There may be another bus that drops you closer?
We will definitely be back!

Great site, good security with electric gates. Has a prefabricated shower/toilet block.
The site is clean and tidy. The site staff are friendly. There is a pub and restaurant nearby.
It is about 30 minutes walk across the beach to Weston super Mare

Our 1st return to this beautiful site in a top location.
This time for a retirement/birthday trip to gather with family. Also to test out recently installed portable solar panel negating the need for the orange cable lifeline.
Simple booking process. Clear instructions and access codes received on the morning of arrival including pitch number. We had corresponded since booking to use a late departure facility parking in the boatyard to enable a relaxed brunch at the Boathouse Cafe.
Warm welcome from reception with everything explained.
The facilities here, the individual 'bathroom' with rainfall shower, toilet, basin, seat and plenty of hanging space are unique and an example to other sites of how to do things properly.
An uber into Weston-Super-Mud for a family tradition of f&c at the seaside at the 'Best' place opposite the pier. Good value, loads of food and very tasty in comparison to celebrity rip off places further sarf in Kernow.
Family meal at the Ship Inn for birthday/retirement celebration.
We will be back at New Year

Reception were helpful and told us everything we needed.
Pitches are good size for everyone to park in a very picturesque view and safe site

Having stayed here again for the New Year we returned for Easter, this time with friends (who'd never stayed before).
We were kindly pitched together as requested on our original booking.
Great site, almost new facilities and stunning views over the lake and the church on the hill.
A few minor issues for us personally - only water point is near new facilities block, as is the elsan point - which is a bit of a walk if you're pitched around the other side (pitch numbers in the 20's). OK for us but for someone with limited mobility this could be a problem? A bit of noise from people walking/biking on the path behind those pitches too, but very quiet overnight.
Very secure site.
Plenty of walking/biking right from the site and a fantastic cafe just outside the site (The Boathouse). Also 2 pubs in the village. We only used The Ship - good food and great staff.
Our friends loved the site and said they would also return.

First time we have stayed at this site and it was great.
Modern and very clean facilities and a lovely base for walking the coastal paths and the 'almost' on site cafe serves excellent food in large portions.
Will definitely stay there again.

We are now regular visitors to this small but perfectly formed campsite! Stayed here for 3 nights over the new year.
Excellent communication - text message on morning of arrival with all relevant information required including secure gate code and pitch number.
Lovely friendly welcome on arrival.
Good sized, flat hardstanding pitch overlooking the lake (as they all are).
New facilities, cleaned regularly and just what you need.
Fantastic cafe right outside the site and easy 45/50 minute stroll into Weston along the beach.
We have already recommended to friends and will be staying over Easter and bringing more friends who've not stayed before.

We had wanted to visit here for ages and finally managed a long weekend.
Stunning location with plenty of walking and cycling with no need to use the vehicle. Pitches large and level, we were allocated 21, that gave fantastic sunset views over the lake.
Fantastic walk up the cliff to the church and down to the Shipp Inn for lunch. A walk to the Dolphin for a swift pint. Had friends visit and had coffee at the cafe on the approach to site.
Immaculate and unique shower/poilet cubicles with waterfall shower.
Had lovely rides on the Beach to Weston-Super_Mud on outfit tyre e-bikes. At dusk one evening, as the sunset another. Just what we wanted to enjoy our break.
Grey waste dump on way out making it easy.
Secure gates.
We will visit again, if we can get in after giving this review. It really is a superb site.

A hidden gem on the outskirts of Weston-super-Mare.
Small 25 pitch site (plus overflow field) surrounding a small lake with stunning views of the church at Uphill.
We've been here a few times in the past and loved it, apart from the very dated facilities.
Now there's a brand new block of 6 individual shower rooms (shower, sink & toilet) and a small (2 sinks) indoor washing up area. Drinking water, waste water point and elsan disposal also housed in the same area.
Lovely hardstanding pitches with 10amp EHU.
They also now have a small shop on site. The 'new' owners have worked really hard. Love watching the robot lawnmower!
Good security with electric gates, all coded in and out.
Great cafe right outside the site with outside seating as well as indoors.
2 pubs in the village. We used the Ship for a meal and drink. A bit overpriced for the quality but it was OK (£17 for lasagne).
Small shop in the village too, but we've not found it yet.
You can walk into Weston via the beach too and there are walks in the other direction to Brean.
We only had a 1 night stop over this time but have already booked for New Year and Easter 2025 and cannot wait to be back.

This was my first stay at a campsite in my camper van. The booking process through the sites own website and I received confirmation and extremely detailed and helpful information prior to my stay.
The site was easily accessible from the M5 and is set in a most beautiful spot a short distance from Weston Super Mare and adjacent to a superb cycling and walking trail.
The checking in process was fast and efficient and I was able to extend my stay by a night without any problem.
Although the site was pretty much fully booked I was immediately struck by how quiet and peaceful it was. I had 2 nights excellent sleep and thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Great showers and toilets.
5 minutes from beach.
Well laid out and well maintained.
I give 10 out of 10 for everything about this site including Jackie the manageress who is gorgeous 😍
