We picked this site as we wanted to meet up with my sister & brother-in-law as they were staying at Überlingen. It is perfectly located on the lake and about 20 minutes brisk walk into Überlingen. We paid extra for a lakeside pitch and were very glad that we did as the site was full and a lot of the pitches were close together. The overall impression of the site is that everyone is crammed in, it is not a picturesque site but its asset is the lakeside position. A lot of divers use this campsite.
Electricity is paid by meter and the showers cost 50 cents for 6 minutes but this is not mentioned on their website. Hairdryer – 10 cents for 3 minutes.
There are two sanitary blocks, the one nearest reception appears to be more modern. The showers were not dirty but didn’t look impeccably clean either. No mops were provided for people to clean the floor after use and there were grass bits all over the floor.
Toilet paper is provided although it is extremely thin. There is no hot water in the washbasin in the toilets. One thing I did find was a nuisance were the light sensors – if no-one came into the block whilst you were using the shower, the timer ran out and you were plunged into semi-dark.
There is a bakery and you didn’t have to order bread on the previous day; we tried out the restaurant which served good food. Reception staff speak English.
We paid 27€ per night plus electricity & showers.

Location:
This site is in a brilliant location, right on the shore of Lake Konstanz and about 10 minutes walk from Uberlingen centre. The lake has excellent opportunities for watersports and there is a swimming area on site.
Uberlingen is a lovely town, with great lakeside bars, restaurants and good shops.
Facilities:
Lots of showers and toilets, all of which are spotlessly clean. Showers are charged 50 cents. There's a bar/restaurant on site, lots of electric and water points and staff speak excellent English.
Costs:
About 25 euros per night for motorhome + 2 adults. Great site; great value.
