The Bull at Swyre is under new management.
The restaurant and bar are not open at this time, but the holiday accommodation and caravan park are open and offering long lets at reasonable prices. Looking for someone to run the pub and serve simple food. See website for more details

Stopped here for one night after reading about it in a respected motorhome magazine.
They seem to have moved the motorhome parking further down the steep field to accommodate an extra residential unit, but have neglected to move the electric hook-ups!, our 25 metre cable only just reached, and we still couldn't get any where near level.
Gave up and were glad to pay the extra to park on a different site further along.

Having booked a few days previously it was obvious they had gone out and cut the very long grass and just left it lying there. It is described as gentle slope. We stalled trying to get up the slope and had to have another go. In trying to get level we used all our wedges plus scaffold boards from the building site in the middle of the pitches. And we still could not get level. We were glad to leave after one night. It was £15 too
