This was my third visit to this great little site, and its always a pleasure to stay there. The staff are friendly and speak good English, and are also very helpful with places to visit - and of course, the first place on your list should be the Sedlec Ossuary - or Church of Bones as featured on 'The Long Way Round' with Euan McGregor and Charlie Boreman.
Back to the site, the shower and washing block is all brand new, with hot showers - although you need a token, and you don't get bags of time either. The small bar/cafe area is well used by the locals as the site is set in a residential area, so often busy, but again, they are all a friendly crowd. There is a small shop up the road - where the dish of 'Russian Eggs' is great for breakfast, if they haven't sold out. It also sells fresh bread rolls etc.
Its not far to walk down into Kutna Hora itself, which apart from the above mentioned attraction, also has the St Barbara's Cathedral, and lots of other interesting old buildings. Definitely worth a visit is the Pivnice Daèický pub for some fantastic meals, washed down with the local brew - recommended!
