 Fabulous site, felt very safe the owner couldn’t do enough for everyone,
Toilets and showers are very clean
Washing up area has everything you need
And a under cover kitchen and games room
Lots of lovely walks

I didn’t want to leave. This is such a lovely quaint campsite with everything you could want.
Electric hook ups, lovely clean toilets and showers.
Kitchen washing up area, cooking facilities all free.
Jess is such a warm caring lady who was always on hand.
I will definitely be returning here on my next camping trip.

We loved this sweet site A thanks to lovely Jess for such a warm welcome and taking good care of everything!
Our mission, to try out an Eriba caravan as we’re thinking of buying one - luckily for us, Jess has one on site. ! We really enjoyed the little caravan, and the campsite facilities were great!
The bathroom facilities are very decent, same for the washing up (enjoyed chatting to fellow campers there!).
We also used Swattesfield as a base for day trips around Suffolk and Norfolk… really enjoyed Diss, Norwich markets and cathedral, Aldeburgh, Sutton Hoo, Southwold and Bury St Edmunds.
We look forward to returning in our own caravan in due course. !

Fabulous campsite in lovely surroundings adjacent to the Thornham Walks attraction. It even has its own access point to the walks, great for dog owners.
Jess and Phil are smashing hosts and very attentive, they place a huge interest in making your stay as pleasant as possible.
I may even go as far as putting the site in our top 3, if not our Nos. 1
Toilet/shower facilities are fabulous and kept immaculately clean.
There are no set pitches, park up where you like and although we were there midweek and the site was fairly quiet Jess informed me that even during busy spells there is usually room for everyone.
A highly recommended campsite and hats off to the owners.

Peaceful, spacious, with all the amenities for a restful stay.
Plenty of space, quiet, I was 1 of 3 campervans.
Would return if I was in this part of the country.

This is an amazing sight they go above and beyond to help wherever they can
Shower and toilets are immaculate, also has washing up facilities that they added bonus of washing up liquid to use and washing up bowls.
Fire pits are also available to hire a small cost also firewood
Suitable for all age group groups plenty to do great walks play areas a short distance away undercover kitchen area and play area so much to explain to you it’s just a wonderful place

A lovely friendly campsite with plenty of room to pitch your tent even on a busy summer weekend.
There were lots of thoughtful facilities such as a cooler under a shelter, free washing up liquid and cloth at the sinks and electric points to charge your phone directly into the socket. The only thing missing was a freezer to freeze ice blocks in as we didn’t have electric hookup and it was hard to keep food cool.
Toilet facilities were dated but had everything that you needed including a hairdryer and plenty of hooks to hang things on.
The site also had a small shop and 4 bikes to hire for £5 a day, which sadly we didn’t have time to use.
The campsite backs on to the Thornham woods with lots of trails to walk the dog. They have to be kept on a lead however there is a large enclosed field next to the overflow car park to let your dog off the lead and run around. Someone has thoughtfully left some tennis balks at the gate too!
The nearby pub is friendly and approximately 30 minute walk along the paths to get to it.

Fantastic site and facilities, excellently run, peaceful (no loud groups), beautiful camp and surroundings.
Jess is a great host.
Love this place! I can't think of anything to fault.
It has such a nice vibe that there isn't anything to moan about!

We were looking for a quiet and relaxed site that accepted dogs, near to a parkrun with nearby access to walks, pubs and a cafe and we found this lovely place that ticked all these boxes !
Access to the site was off a country lane and down a gravel track for a short distance into a small car park area and then straight onto the main camping field in a lovely setting.
We could pretty much park where we liked (off grid) if you wanted electric hook up they had a couple/ few in one corner. We used the nice 'communal' cooking area that also had a few games and some electrics for charging low powered devices like phones.
In the same area you have a couple of large sinks for washing dishes etc. The main building houses the showers and toilets (in each Male Female area 2 showers and multiple toilets with sinks, hand dryer more power and USB ports.
They have a small shop with some essentials but also wine/beer if you need ! You can hire a bike for a small cost and also have access to plenty of fire pits. At the bottom of the main field is a gate than leads directly onto walks in lovely countryside.
These lead onto the main Thornham Walks (if you are a parkrun fan then this is where it starts - Thornham Walk parkrun) approx. 1 mile walk and has a really nice cafe. A bit further on, you can get to a really nice country pub with a further. 7 of a mile and 95% off road.
We also had a good (5 miles) run on local public / permissive footpaths so plenty of walking/running options.
Really friendly and helpful host that looked after us and overall we had a great 4 nights peaceful sleep and active days.

Beautiful campsite with incredible facilities. Staying in the Pixie Hut was perfect for us, but the communal kitchen for use of all the campers was fabulous too. Couldn't believe that it was so quiet!
Jess the host is so friendly and helpful.
The adjoining Thornham estate is a huge bonus. The walk around the first field is in itself a foragers dream - we enjoyed wild plums straight from the tree. We also saw 8-10 different species of butterfly in the first few hundred yards.
