 Lovely field, with mown grass, next to field that has cows.
For £10, a great site with fresh water, lovely toilet by house (well kept and stocked with loo roll and hand towels). Also chemical toilet disposal point (which we needed).
Lovely friendly family and on site workers, plus a warm welcome from 'meeter and greeter' Billy (the sheepdog).

Owners greeted us on arrival. Lovely people. Lovely surroundings. Toilets were clean and tidy. Surroundings were stunning.
We stayed 2 nights here due to going to a wedding 4 mins down the road. Owners children waved us goodbye from the field.
Lovely place and definitely recommend for a peaceful night away.
Our son loved waking up to the cows in the field next to us too! It was a lovely wake up call! Thanks again!

Owners were very welcoming. Showed us all amenities. We had the camping field to ourselves.
Toilet and water tap clean and tidy.
We enjoyed our stay greatly.

A small certified site perfect for a short stop. As to be expected with a CS the facilities are limited to a bin and freshwater but as a bonus there are also toilet facilities.
Site consists of a small field on a working dairy farm. The field was in great condition with only a very slight slope so ideal for tents. The field is segregated from the rest of the farm by a hedgerow on three sides and a fence on the other so if it is windy you should be able to find some shelter.
Toilet facilities consist of the outside toilet of the farmhouse, just a toilet and sink but clean and well kept with hot water.
As it is a working farm there can be some background noise but nothing too bad, just some inquisitive cows! The owners were very friendly and would have a good chat if you bumped into them on the way to the toilet.
The site is a short walk (10Mins along a country lane) from the village of North Cowton. There is a pub in the village which served nice, hearty meals. A surprising find whilst strolling out from the site in the day was the small cafe at a water garden center nearby. Really good lunch time food!
Overall we had a really pleasant and quiet stay for a couple of nights. The area is very agricultural but we found some nice walks to keep us busy over a weekend. For the price cannot complain and would revisit.
