 Great location and amazing views! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glen Sonas campsite.
The lady was friendly, helpful and gave us fantastic suggestions of what to see in the area.
Oban is picturesque and buzzing with plenty of things to do and see. Also a great place to stay and admire the beautiful dark sky.
Out of all the campsites we stayed, on our tour up the West coast of Scotland, this was our favourite! a perfect mix of rustic and charming.

|
No mains water (bottled available), no shower, no EHU, toilet functional but still under construction. Many will turn away before entering the gate.
However, the views, and the peaceful setting, are definitely worth giving it an overnight stay.
The proprietor has an abundance of rescue dogs but again, don’t be put off. They’re all very friendly.
Would I stay more than one night? Probably not, but for £12 it’s worth a visit.
