Stayed at Mill Lock for 1 night. It's a small basic site, no toilets or showers, the fresh water tap, CDP and CDP tap are well signed. The site is located down a grass track which is near the bend in the road.

There is a slight slope on the site but this means that it copes with the rain and drains well. The grass was a bit long for my liking but it had been raining heavily in the weeks prior to our stay so this may have had an effect.

There are public footpaths straight from the site along the Market Weighton canal which is a pleasant walk.

Fishing is available on site in a large old lock next to the camping area.

There are no shops near the site so you may need to stock up with supplies before arriving on site. There are shops/pubs/takeaways at Market Weighton, Holme on Spalding Moor and North Cave which are all a short drive away.

We were the only ones on the site and had a great time. Cost £8 per night for 2 adults and a dog.
