We stumbled across this little gem while trying to find another site. The staff were very friendly, although the language barrier meant the German phrase book came into its own!
The receptionist asked us to pitch up and she'd come and find us.
There was loads of room on a neat grass area by the lake. There is EHU, but only in one area, so most people were around there (not crowded though). We don't use it so had ample room.
The lake is used by day visitors, so gets busy, but is lovely. There was a lifeguard on duty, and a kids section of the lake where the water is shallow. On site cafe and bar during the day.
Barbecues were in a communal area, so fires near the tents. Decent playground kept our little'un happy while we pitched up etc.
We paid 20 euros a night for 2 adults and our 3 year old. Showers were free, clean and plenty of hot water. Nearest town is Leeheim where there are small bars and shops. Nearest supermarkets in Oppenheim (5K via the Rhein ferry).
