We chose this site as a stop-off on our way to the Pyrenees and as a base from which to visit nearby Toulouse. Shortly before our arrival the site experienced a very heavy thunderstorm (as we did too!) and the rain was still coming down when we arrived at reception. The site is set on a wooded hillside and arranged in a series of flat terraces which restricted any rainwater run-off and in addition the soil had a clay consistency - all of which resulted in virtually every pitch being very wet and muddy. Those who arrived after us were told to park on the site roadways but these were already partially restricted by vans and trucks used by workers constructing a number of chalets. The toilet block was adequate but their cleanliness was hampered by the presence of the surrounding mud. The site owners, of course, cannot be held responsible for the weather conditions but it certainly felt that the development work was taking precedent over the needs of campers. On the plus side, the young manageress was very friendly and helpful and there was a reasonable restaurant in the reception building. No bread was available on site, the nearest being in the small town of Nailloux about two miles away.
And if the weather had been warm and sunny? Well, it would have improved the access but not the general appearance or the facilities. This is not a site I would visit again.
