Great welcome by our gracious hosts, Carol and David, for whom nothing was too much trouble
Spacious, open and quiet hard standing, beautifully kept and amply grassed site on a working farm with great views towards Pendle and close to Skipton
Immaculate new facilities block
Thank you both, we shall return

Fantastic small & quite site. The couple who own it came out & told us where everything was & where to set up with friends who were camping.
Also had a friendly chat with them on the last day.
Very clean toilet & showers. Just be sure to take plenty of essentials as there are no shops nearby.
We also had an excellent Indian takeaway one night, the camp owners passed on the menu's & said it was a good one & it was.

Situated on the a59 so ideally situated for the Yorkshire Dales and the Ribble Valley, with lovely scenery.
The owners could not be more friendly and helpful to make the visit comfortable.
Even offering to drop us off, or pick us up at the local town personally.
Lovely amenities in regards to the toilets, and showers which were clean, new very well kept.

This is a lovely little site. There is plenty of space on the pitches (all EHU as far as we could tell), with a big patch of grass in front of where you pitch, which gave loads of room for the kids to play in front of our caravan (and fly their kite!).
The toilet/shower block is perfect for what you need and was always incredibly clean and well stocked whenever we used it.
The owner was really friendly and helpful!
A lovely site, fairly local to us, so we will be back!

Just got back from a long weekend at Roman Bank. It’s a lovely site and very quiet, with easy access to Bolton Abbey and Malham cove.
We visited with friends so were able to pitch together and only cost £20 a night with EHU even though it was a bank holiday weekend.
Had a warm welcome from the owner who often popped by to check we were ok. New toilets and showers had just been fitted which will hopefully encourage more campers.
Plenty of space for children to play and to walk dogs. We didn’t see any local walks nearby so we did have to drive everywhere if we wanted to get out and about.
The site would benefit from dish washing facilities for campers as there currently isn’t anywhere to wash. I believe from the owner that there are plans in place to install some thing soon.
Great little site for families, but could do with a little park or something to keep kids entertained like swings, climbing frame and zip wire.
There is also a storage area on site for motorhomes and caravans if you wanted to leave them there until your next visit.
All in all its a lovely site and we have already booked to go back

This site has improved so much since we first visited. There is now so much space and the grass is immaculate. The owner was out when we arrived but his daughter said we could pitch up and then he came to welcome us later and make sure we were happy.
Having the dog walking/exercise field is a real bonus. If you want pure peace and quiet this is the site for you

We have visited this site twice before and enjoyed the peace and quiet and the lovely countryside. The town of Skipton is only about 15 minutes by car and really is worth a visit. We went on a canal barge and there were plenty of canal side pubs and places to eat. The only downside on the site this time was the over crowding. Admittedly it was a bank holiday weekend but there were 12 vans plus some seasonal ones (it is a 5 van site). Despite this we had a nice weekend and may visit again in the future.
