Great base local to Redcar.
Facilities good with electric/water on hard stand.
Friendly people run site, no issues answering questions.
Good dog walks local to site. Left early due to family illness but would 100% recommend.
Does exactly what it says on the tin 👍

This is a no frills small site but provides a good base. We have family in the area so was ideal. The pub provided a venue for a night out with friends and a good Sunday lunch with family.
The grandchildren enjoyed the play area. For all it was a pub site there was very little noise, a few cars in car park.
A brief note on Coronavirus issues - I thought that the landlord had done everything they could to provide a safe and comfortable environment and we didn't have any concerns.

This is a very good site with level pitches, and the toilet and shower are very clean.
We have been here three times and will come again.
Handy for visiting the east coast.

Small 5 van site in the grounds of a public house next to their car park. Immaculate grounds and level well spaced gravel pitches with grass in between. Water and electric at each pitch. One combined toilet, shower & sink room which again was immaculately clean and not too cramped. Childrens play park on site as this is NOT an adult only site. Landlady, Carolyn was extremely friendly & helpful and we visited the pub both nights. Also made to feel welcome by the locals too. On the Saturday night there was live music in the pub, which we enjoyed but was obviously noisy particularly at closing time, however it sooner quietened down. People we spoke to said the food on site was lovely, but we didn't eat here this time but will when we go back which we will. Shop and cash point at point of entry to car park but nothing else in immediate vicinity. Great for visiting further afield like Whitby, Saltburn etc.

Very well kept CL, pub noisy but quiet by 11pm, pricey @ £20 per night ! Shop next to pub, bus stops outside, garage/fuel opposite, approx 3/4 miler from Redcar beach area. North Yorks moors close by as is the market Town of Guisborough.

Stayed 1 night in July 2016 and it was perfectly adequate. Friendly owners, good facilities although not much of a view. You have your own personal toilet and shower, which is excellent. Having the small shop and cash machine alongside the pub makes it very convenient.

Good location bus stop and shop outside site. Have visited several times, was surprised how much site fee had shot up for 2016. Good hardstanding and all pitches have electric and water to each, well thought out by owner

Visit this site now 3 times this year and same in 2014. Very well maintained. You have to be weather beaten as let set up high and can get very windy and bleak at times so always have a thick wholly jumper with you whatever the time of year. The one shower is suitable but have noticed it could do with been cleaned a bit more seems to go days without been washed round or moped out. Also noticed some campers were taking dog into the shower room, needs sign stating no dogs allowed, the pub does get a bit loud on Fri and Sat but music does stop at 11. Think a weekend is long enough to spend here.

Second visit as have family locally. This is basically an extension of the pub carpark. It has great views. Shower and toilet open 24/7 but not always very clean. Pub can be noisy and caravan site area grass is shared with pub so there are children with footballs, dogs etc. Owners are nice but not available till 3pm so any problems on arrival have to wait till then.
Big issue for us is there is no motorhome disposal point so no where to empty before driving home. Even the caravanners on the site found it hard to lift full wastemasters up to tip in the raised empty point. We drove to family member locally to empty tanks but it was pain.
We might come back because of the location but we are looking for other sites with better facilities.

I've already reviewed this site but had to give another 10 out of 10 based on our revisit. Sometimes sites go 'downhill', so I feel another review after a revisit is always called for.
All I can say is. Again, this site is a credit to the owners. Standards have been maintained perfectly since our visit last year. They can't be improved upon, absolutely faultless.
We will be back again very soon.
