 We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Applegarth Camping and Caravan CL site,
It is possible to walk into the city of Chichester.
We will definitely come back the next time we are down here from Yorkshire.

A simple grassy field with no hard standings next to the owners home. Location is in a residential area 25 minutes walk from Chichester and 10 minutes from a Tesco Extra. There is road noise from both the nearly A27 and local roads but overnight we didn't hear anything other than the morning dawn chorus!
Entrance is quite tight, but doable for our 6. 5/2. 35m van with care. There are five well spaced out pitches all grass with plenty of room for awnings and all on the level. There is a single fresh water point, and chemical toilet, rubbish and recycling facilities but no toilet, shower, grey water dump facilities or EHU fix.
On our visit we had the place to ourselves parked up next to the hen run with plenty of afternoon and evening sunshine. TV reception was perfect and the owners were super friendly and were happy to lend us local guides and maps with some excellent walks in the local area. There is a resident dog on site.
