The lawned area was not accessible due to it being too soft so were placed on the hard standing area along with 3 others which suited us fine as our unit is quite heavy.
There is just one unisex ‘loo’ and shower (in separate parts of a shed) both were kept clean and the electric shower was nice and hot in a self-contained unit.
Just a few yards away (albeit down a busy road which could be heard from the site) from the cuckoo trail for walking and cycling and around a mile on it to Hailsham village with shops and pubs.
Couldn’t really fault it or the hosts. £20 p. N. Inclusive of EHU.

Delightful, peaceful and friendly. One toilet and one shower were very clean, but no heating if you need it in the cooler season.
The cuckoo trail is a quiet cycle/footpath almost next door to site, benches positioned at intervals for picnicking with a wonderful view.
About a mile along the path is Hailsham, a lovely little town with supermarkets and a good choice of places to eat.
Definitely at the top of our list of campsites to return to.

The site is in a great location for exploring the South Downs and is a really quiet site.
The entrance is relatively narrow so care needs to be taken if you have a wide unit.
The owners are very friendly and helpful.

The freedom to be able to mix with other members of our group and Ron the owner was very helpful,
We had the rally field it was just unfortunate that the weather was very wet,
But a very nice spot.

Had a lovely time here. Absolutely spotless. The owners are a delight and have lots of interesting stories.
The facilities were perfectly adequate and kept very clean.
The site is peaceful and welcoming - we would definitely visit again.
The site location was perfect for exploring the South Downs and surrounding area.

Lovely site just south of Hailsham. The pitches are all in a nice field at the back of the owners house. All are good size and the site is very clean.
Just the one shower and toilet but all facilities were clean, disposal points more than adequate and the owner and his good lady were very hospitable.
We would definitely want to stay here again if we were in the area.

Wonderful site, very friendly owners and a site that is well maintained. The site only accommodates a few caravans and tents but has plenty of room for a lot more.
The only comment would be that there is a single toilet / shower, but that never really disappointed us as the owners kept them both immaculately clean and with so few allowed on the site it was never a problem.
We would highly recommend the site, it is close to the walking/biking Cuckoo Trail that is within 100m of the site and takes you through wooded areas to both Hailsham and Polegate where you can get to shops and pubs.
You are also not far from the coast as it's at most a 15-minute drive.
We will definitely book there again.
