Pros: Quiet, small site and nice view. Accommodation in a mega pod was warm, cosy and modern with a tv. Utility block with a shower for use for anyone staying. Dog friendly so is a bonus for pet owners. These are difficult to find unless you are camping. Small, open field for kids to play in. Was clean and tidy. Other accommodation includes two statics and a barn plus one other wooden mega pod. We were left to explore for ourselves and weren't being checked upon so could relax. Local garden and a national trust property nearby. Newquay and Aberaeron within 30mins. Good if looking for quiet holiday, you can hear the wildlife.
Cons: Not sign posted so beware of your satnav taking you off course. Pod seemed slightly smaller than photos suggest. We were quite disapointed when we didn't receive our freebies as promised in the special offers advert. For £160 for 2 nights you shouldn't have to ask for these. We thought on Halloween night the wine, beer and logs would be waiting for us. Quite annoyed as when at time of booking you believe you are getting better value for money when owners state what is included. You could stay in a b&b for the price we paid but went for the experience and the fact it is dog friendly. I have stayed in a other similar accommodation in the local area and they were much more obliging to providing the good quality breakfast ingredients and homemade snacks they had promised and insisted it was part of it all. I would encourage owners here to do the same.
Overall nice little place, good for dogs and their owners but I won't be returning simply due to price and value for money.
