Very nice, quiet and well organised site.
Liked it a lot.
Very pleasant owner.
After arriving we found out pitch number, setting up a tent a lot of neighbours offered help, then owner walked pass and spoke a few words.
Pitch was huge, ideal for a big tent with porch and fits a car, too.
Village itself is a quiet one with a pub, of course, but we drove to holy Island one day and had a very nice and peaceful stay.
Hope our wee one didn't cause you many noise complaints.
Thank you

Can't put into words how much we likes this side,
Owner was so helpful,
We met some really nice folk,
Not a lot for children to do,
View around were lovely and relaxing,
Although small the toilets x2, shower x1, were immaculate, drinking water for us was next to our van,
Not a lot to do to do on site but other towns were in easy reach,
Will without a doubt be going back to this site in the future as it really suits our quiet life style.

Great little campsite…. Close to pubs … and at 31 degrees during heatwave a godsend
Toilets immaculately clean
Small 28 pitch site so enough privacy
Everything we wanted

It’s a small camp site within Town Yetholm which is easy to miss on driving in as the signs are quite small. It’s by a church.
It has gravel drives and hard standing pitches with well kept lawn for campervans, caravans and some tents.
The washing and shower block is very good and it is all sheltered by trees. Personal attention is minimal but available if needed. It is in ideal walking and hiking country with The Cheviot, Windy Gyll, The Pennine Way and St Cuthbert’s Way nearby, among others.
Quiet strollers can also enjoy nearby river walks. A few days was not nearly enough time to explore what the area can offer.
Overall it is a quiet, unpretentious site with the basics a camper needs and in a beautiful location within The Cheviot hills.

A simple booking process, online then via the website.
Amazingly well maintained, with superb toilet block, shower, hairdryers.
Most pitches have a water supply within a few metres and at most maybe 10 metres from pitches.
Well suited for tourers, motor homes, campers.
Town Yetholm is 2 mins walk.
Really friendly pub, serving pub meals and even do takeaways.
Great butchers, small shop, fuel station that also does gas.
Really pleasant hideaway quiet site, South facing so when it’s sunny it’s rarely in the shade.
10 mins drive to nearby Kelso a busy little border town, passing Sainsbury Superstore on route.
Booked again for October.
Really impressed.

Beautiful, peaceful, small site within the village itself and well positioned for both walking and visiting the borders, the coast, etc.
Grounds and facilities immaculate.
Owner friendly and helpful. May not suit some: one shower and open sinks in toilet block; no laundry facilities or children's play area - but, as oldies, we loved the simple charm of this site!
We will most certainly be returning often.

Excellent campsite for both campervans, caravans and tents.
I turned up on day and managed to secure pitch but advisable to book.
Nice flat grassy area for camping and an excellent and clean toilet block with good hot shower.

Clean site excellent toilet facilities and Shower.
Brilliant area for walking the dog. Hill walking right on the door step.
Community shop lady was very welcoming and friendly.
Border hotel pub a short walk away lovely pint. Also they serve food.
The people we met as we walked around the area were very friendly and had time to stop for conversation.
Will be back for a longer stay.

Have been to Kirkfield 4 times now and it always is a pleasant stay
We enjoy walking and there is an abundance of rural walks. The town is an old market town and has a lovely friendly pub for excellent food and they do takeaways.
Also has a small store. The site is well looked after and everything is marked out with maps with your pitch on. Staff are there if you required, but they leave everyone to enjoy their stay
Not much around for children so most staying are young walkers ( Cuthbert's way/ Pennine way/ or mature/ retired. This give for a very quiet site with stunning scenery to be enjoyed.
