We stayed before the school holidays and there were quite a few empty pitches - they are secluded with willow hedging, and of different sizes with soft ground so tent pegs do not get damaged. It was very peaceful, with no lighting so after dark (10pm) people rapidly quietened down. The cafe was not open when we visited, but there was coffee/tea available when reception was open. The on site shop also did not have much stock, but there is a very good mini supermarket 5 minutes drive away so it is easy to shop as you need things. As mentioned the toilets/showers were very clean and homely too which is an unusual combination. The site is dog friendly, and there are little used lanes nearby to walk with them in the morning/evening. In addition, one of the best all-round beaches in Jersey is about 15 minutes away by footpath (steep up and down). The Retreat /Massage /Yoga centre is a separate business, but does give the whole site a good atmosphere. We would definitely use this site again on a return to Jersey as the location, quiet and low key facilities suit us.

Roads are lumpy, laid with cheap lumpy gravel.
Wi Fi only available at reception.
Told it was full when there were at least 10 empty pitches.
Tents and vans mixed.
Need levelers on some pitches.
Pool had been boarded over with decking.
Very basic chemical toilet, manhole in road with no rinsing water meaning the clean tap needed to be used for rinsing the cassette.
Good points were.
Free Clean showers and toilets with plenty of hot water.
Therapy room on site.
Laundry needed to be handed over at reception in a black bin bag for washing and tumble drying at £7. 50 a time.
Very nice bar and restaurant.
Quiet after 10pm.
Plenty of info at reception.
Basic goods sold at reception.
Bus stop around 500 mtres away.

A peaceful, relaxing campsite with a friendly atmosphere. The toilet/shower facilities deserve special praise: although compact, even when the site is full they are perfectly adequate for the number of campers and during the week we were there they were always spotlessly clean and the water consistently hot.

Daisy Cottage Campsite is a great place to stay, we chose the site as it was dog friendly and it truly was.
The facilities are very clean, cleaned regularly and the showers were great.
I loved the natural willow partitions used to separate the pitches.
When we camp in Jersey again, we will definitely use Daisy Cottage.

Fantastic site. My husband and I were greeted very warmly, shown around site and was able to pick a pitch of our choosing, they were very helpful as my pump to blow up air bed was broken so lent me their foot pump. They have own restaurant where food was excellent, swimming pool looked very inviting, nice to hear birds sing in morning, toilet block was very clean, showers were brilliant nice and hot and you didn't have to keep your finger on button, cleaned every morning and evening, good wash up facilities and plenty of bins for rubbish. Michelle and partner were on hand if you needed any help or advice. The yurts looked really special as well, might try these another time, very reasonable rates as well. I really recommend this site and would definitely come back to this site. Cheapest diesel we saw was by airport at 114. 9. Nearest supermarket was Food Hall, best beach we found was St. Brelade, wish we could have stayed another week!

We stayed here for the second week of our fortnight on Jersey. The place had that September, end of season feel to it and needed a tidy up. The Yurts were being dismantled and cleaned and although there was nothing wrong, we just felt a bit of garden maintenance, pitch levelling and generally clearing away of stuff would present the site in a better light.
We were charged £20 for two adults, a tent and car, the going rate for Jersey. The pool was closed and we didn't need to use the shop and cafe. The showers are, however, possibly the best I've experienced in many years of camping!
A great location to explore the North West of the island. The coastal scenery is spectacular from St Ouen's Bay (pronounced One's!) to St Catherines Bay, but don't attempt it all in one day!
There is an interesting pub, the Old Mill, in Greve de Lecq but foodwise, we didn't find anything to rave about. May be we should have tried the campsite food! The bus stop, 10 mins down the lane, offers a frequent service into St Hellier. At £1. 70 per trip this has to be the best way to get around.
Good location, great showers, but needs to improve on the cosmetic stuff.

Great campsite, very friendly and helpful staff, in a superb NW Jersey location. A relatively small site, but not crammed in and no issues with noise. A choice of quieter area is available, although the whole site is equally inviting. Stayed in own tent, although an impressive array of Yurts and Bell Tents were available to hire (maybe next time!)
A small pool on site, which seemed clean and cared for, although with the fantastic array of beaches in very close proximity, not really required. Washup area and shower/toilet blocks in good order and site cleanliness very good standard. Cafe facility for both residents and passing trade is excellent, with a sizeable menu and a superb breakfast, essential for your breakdown day! Although listed as a Retreat, this is very much an addition to your stay and the meditation / yoga / treatments are not an essential part of the visit. Didn't take advantage of this facility, but it is there if you want it.
Nearest beach is Greve de Lecq, a short drive/walk/cycle, although the steep hill is great for the down, but hard work on the up! Lovely cove with free parking and plenty of amenities. For surfing etc St Ouen's is a must and is only a short drive/cycle away. 5 miles of sandy beach is not to be sneezed at.
A couple of local grocery stores have everything you could want and both within 5 mins drive/cycle.
All in all, we had an excellent stay and will definitely return.
