What a great campsite. Great amenities, nice big space for the kids to run about in. Very quiet at night.

Plenty of hot water - had a go in the outside shower, it was a revelation !

Food truck in the evenings, great hosts. What's not to like.

Close to a very nice big funfair type park too!

Stayed for 5 nights with my two grown up daughters. The site is lovely and the wardens are excellent and friendly.

We enjoyed the outside showers, and didn't even use the indoor ones. There is a pizza oven and bar that comes on a Friday and Saturday evening and they do breakfast too.

Would recommend booking a pizza well in advance though as we missed out trying to book the night before.

On the whole a nice little site

Just got back from 2 night stay the wardens were very welcoming and helpful nothing was any trouble. The toilets were a little cramped inside

And the showers (unisex) could do with some updating also the water supply to the shower block needs attention.

The site is nice and flat which was great, bbq's were allowed but no fire pits! which is a shame as the 2 evenings we were there the temp dropped and we headed off to keep warm in our tent!

Overall it's a nice site good location for Warwick and Kenilworth and Hatton Country Park also lovely walks on the Grand union canal.

5 out of 10 for the site facilities as they need updating especially when the site is full as it was when we were there.

Friendly site with plenty of room for everyone.

Clean facilities, choice of showers, inside or outside.

Constant hot water and washing up sinks.

I happily recommend it to all.

I found this campsite a couple of years ago, and what an absolute gem!

I have stayed here many times now, on my own, with my partner, and his young daughter has also camped with us. Each visit has been great.

My adult children are in Kenilworth, and my daughter has a little Bakery less than 10 mins up the road, so the location is perfect for us.

The site is a good size, and I especially like that they have 23 pitches - I’ve been to sites the same size who would double the amount of pitches and it feels so over crowded.

The pitches are all laid out around the outside of the field - giving plenty of field space to play a game of cricket or pop up your badminton set!

The outside showers are great, and I prefer (when it’s not freezing outside!) because you don’t have the steamy bathroom to contend with like most communal shower blocks.

There is also an indoor block with 2 showers - 1 being a good sized family shower and changing area.

There is an outside 2 sink washing up facility.

Good access to water, bins etc

The toilet block is what it is, and any issues with any of the facilities the amazing Wardens deal with swiftly.

The location of the site is great, very easy access to Warwick, Stratford, Kenilworth, Solihull, and the NEC. Do follow the Instructions to get there especially if towing though!

The site is next to a working farm, and has horse’s in the next field, being in the Country brings some lovely walks, and great peace and quiet!

The new addition of bar on a Friday & Saturday night, and freshly made oven baked pizza’s on a Saturday is fabulicious, and the marquee to sit and socialise (or stay dry!) is an absolute bonus.

The pizza’s have evolved over the last couple of months, and are by far the best ‘takeaway’ I’ve had … even delivered to your tent if you wish!

This trip was the Diamond Jubilee weekend, and the Wardens (inc Owners) had put on some great ‘British’ entertainment on the Saturday afternoon - inc welly wangling and other fun things, and finished off with a great fun quiz! Neil was by far the funniest quiz master ever (… some say he’s a Ricky Gervais in disguise 🥸!)

So that brings me to the Owners and Wardens.

What an amazing Team the 5 of them all are 🤩

It’s very clear they all get on really well, and that in itself ensures the best for the site. They are all very friendly, and go over the top to ensure you have a great stay.

There are some rules and regulations - but these are nothing I’m not used to with staying on reputable and safety conscious campsites (and what I would prefer)

Whoever is on duty is there to greet you when you arrive, and show you to your pitch and explain the T&C’s! There is a mobile number for after 7pm when they are off duty in an urgent/emergency situation.

There is a Shell garage (not overpriced fuel) on the way into Warwick - and a local little shop in Hatton. The main shops are in the Towns, they are about a good 10 - 15+ mins away and a great choice of all major supermarkets.

The County has some great historical sites to visit, there are great parks and leisure facilities, and plenty of places to eat out - both near and far from the campsite.

There is always something going on in the area during the season’s - fetes, festivals, outdoor markets, music gigs etc

Leamington Spa is a good town for having a shopping afternoon - great choice and variety of shops, and you can also visit the historic spa!

Would I return - absolutely, I do regularly!

Would I recommend - absolutely, I do regularly!

Would I change anything - I like the way the campsite has evolved, and the quality of the new things installed (maybe the toilet/shower block update would be great next… and that would be a full 10/10!)

This for me is an easy overall 10/10 *rating

Lovely site. Very well organised on arrival. Decent sized pitches.

Clean toilets and outdoor showers which were a bit cold as breezy. Lots of room for children to play.

Also Dog friendly. Really enjoyable stay.

Lovely campsite with basic needs fulfilled. After being disappointed that there was no availability, had a call to say that they'd had a cancellation and we could book a pitch.

They had just opened "outdoor" showers to deal with Covid restrictions and complementing the smaller shower block. The outdoor shower was lovely on a really hot weekend!

Nice and quiet and big area for kids to play on, which you can see from most of site. Pizza company arrived on Saturday night to make fresh pizzas to order - they were really good according to our son! Staff were really friendly and helpful.

Will definitely return next year.
