Brilliant location, really out in the wilds down a long track that from a location point of view didn't disappoint.
Very basic amenities with just portaloos, but we knew that in advance.
Friendly owner who went around in the evening collecting payment and selling logs for campfires.
The only bad thing to say is some of the other visitors just didn't have any regard for the impact their deep-bass loud music and ridiculous sounding repeated car-revving had on other campers.
Selfish behaviour that slightly took the edge off an otherwise great nearly-wild experience.

This is a beautiful site a couple of miles down a (very rough) farm track in lovely countryside. As others have said it does attract occasional party types.
On our visit we had a small but slightly noisy group on Friday night playing music until past midnight but the site is big enough that it was not too bad. However they left Saturday morning and then the site was stunning and very quiet
Very basic facilities but the portaloos were fine. We’ll definitely be back and take our chances on the noisy boys as this is a lovely place

We have been camping at New House farm for many years.
It's basic camping at its best. You are free to do anything you like. People put swings in the trees for the kids (and adults😊 ).
The farmer will come round and sell logs so you can have a camp fire in the evening. Music can be played and everyone has a good time.
Well worth it

We love this campsite and have been coming for over 25 years - it's as close to wild camping as you can get!
We camped on bank holiday and the sat night was so noisy with a group playing music (thudding techno beat) so loudly competing with another large party playing other music also loudly.
We, and the farmer asked them to turn it down but really to no effect. We understand there is a quiet camp now a bit further away so next time we shall go there!
That said this is a very lovely valley to camp in, with the possibility of having fires wherever you like and beautiful views.
If you're ok with just a tap and a portaloo then you will enjoy the freedom of new house camp

The campsite was beautiful, but unfortunately, our trip was ruined by a group of egocentric idiots setting up in the middle of the field and playing drum and bass up to the early hours of the morning.
If you want to go to a rave, this is the perfect place for you, but if you want to get away and relax, I'd look elsewhere.

Camped midweek as part of a walk on the South Downs Way.
Large field and very quiet at this time of the year. Water tap and porta loos. Loos OK but past there best this late in the season.
Best way to directly access the site from the SDW is from Graffham Down SU927161 and down the restricted byway to site entrance below Brockhurst Bottom. Phone ahead to check!
£10 for a one person tent. Friendly site owners and will return next year.

Huge open space; camp where you like. Dark skies area.
Fire pits created on the field, and logs available to buy, so lots to like!
Only one tap, and a few portaloos around the site, which were clean, but bring your own hand gel.
The field is a long drive (well about a mile) up a rutted track.

We have been here plenty of times, and it is always a great stay. The place is absolutely basic, but it is what you make it.
Be careful of the rocky drive to it it’s a bum clenching drive if your car is a little low.
V chill place and it’s big enough for you to do your own things
