 An update on the 2013 review. Now labels itself as 'Aire Municipale Les Sapins'. No one on site and entry is now by (reasonably user-friendly) card and keypad.
Caravans are no longer admitted.
Good large clean hardstandings for motorcaravans all with water and electricity points.
Large clean green tenting area with mature oaks in the centre of the site.
Perfectly adequate clean toilet/shower block now with washing machine and slightly unusually, bike repair and charging stations. Good play area for children.
Village facilities a ten minute walk - the bakers amd butchers/deli are excellent.
Access is 10 mins off the A16 - second junction off the N42, over two small roundabouts and through the village to the bottom of the hill then just over the next roundabout.

A handy Municipal Site just 4/5 minutes from Auchan in Boulogne. It is situated on the outskirts of La Capelle Les Boulogne, which has a Bread shop open every day but closed Monday also cafe, butchers etc. The office at the site is only open 0800-0900 & 1600-1700. If closed there is a operating switch either side of the barrier, just open, find yourself a pitch and the warden will call. You can call the Mobile number and inform them you have arrived. The weekend warden we saw is very enthusiastic and speaks good English.
There are good sized hardstanding pitches all with water, electricity and drainage, and a central grass area for tents. There are two large modern toilets and showers in the centre.
For dog owners there are good walks in the adjacent woods.
A very good site for a night halt and to visit the local area
