Just come back from a week's camping at this idyllic site. It is open July and August and is just £7 per pitch. It's a quiet flat field with a portaloo and cold water tap, plus a few picnic tables, so it's basic old-school camping but all the better for that. There are sea views, cows and horses in the field next door, gorgeous sunsets, peace and quiet. 10 minutes walk from St Just and 10 minutes walk from Cape Cornwall and the coastal walk. And run by a very friendly farmer.
The location is lovely – sea, green fields, no lights – and very handy for walking – Coast path (short walk away) + lots of other paths, including one through the middle of the field – the town and shops, pubs, tearooms, buses, golf, etc. Are just a mile away, but it is so peaceful you won’t know. The site facilities are basic but you know this when you arrive. There are picnic tables, water and a toilet – and relaxation. Super friendly welcome.
