We stayed in Wolfsburg mainly for the VW factory which is only a 10 minute walk from the site - come out and turn right, walk past the stadium and you are there. The site is very sandy being next to a lake, but the lake itself is nice. Facilities were dated but clean, only gripe was that the coin operator for the shower was outside the cubicle and it was quite a brief shower for 50 c. Wolfsburg itself is not terribly inspiring being quite modern but the Autostadt was a good day out (go early) and the campsite ok for a visit for a night or two.
