 It was a pleasant site, with toilet, showers and washing up area, all cleaned daily. Reasonably flat and good sized pitches. The electric hookup worked well.
There are some pleasant walks from the site, and if you don't mind the distance, you can walk to the coast. There are several decent pubs nearby (one in the village).
Southwold, Walberswick and Aldeburgh are a short drive. The bad side is the area is like a construction site and I got a speeding ticket as the roads have myriads of speed restrictions with both average and mobile speed cameras around.
I'd go to the campsite again, but not until 2040 when Sizewell C is completed and the area has become normal again, without road closures, hundreds and hundreds of heavy lorries on the road and the joy of not being a cash cow for Norfolk & Suffolk Police through speeding fines (38 mph average on a substantial rural B road is not fast, and it is capturing holiday makers and not the truck drivers who know where the cameras are).

I enquired about booking this last minute as I needed a campsite in the Suffolk area for the next day, and got prompt and polite reply from Emma.
After looking at several others in the area with poor reviews on shower facilities I decided on sycamore park. I was not disappointed as the site was well kept with immaculate shower and toilet despite being one shower and one toilet.
A small site with surrounding fields and trees set back from the road there was no traffic noise night or day.
The village pub was a short walk away (on a unpaved road but the shortcut via the beautiful village church made it easier) with good beer and homecooked food, being alone I found all the locals friendly,
I would not hesitate to book this site again.

Fantastic site! We stayed in our caravan over a long bank holiday weekend. It’s relatively small with about 20 pitches, but they are spacious and generally separated by low beech hedging with mature trees to boundary.
Nice access from the road, we didn’t hear any road noise. The toilet and shower facilities are super clean, well maintained, with copious hot water always available.
The pot wash station was also spot on. Grey water and chemical waste disposal areas again were well placed and clean. The WiFi worked a treat, a bit surprised to be able to stream Netflix on the TV without any issues.
A few minutes walk up the road and there is a nice pub the Theberton Lion which serves fantastic award winning beer and cider, the food was good too. Centrally located for Southwold, Aldeburgh and all the other lovely villages and attractions in the area.
The Owner was super helpful, friendly and quick to respond to messages.
Definitely recommend staying here, we will be returning when we get another opportunity.

A wonderful campsite. Ticked all the boxes for us.
Peaceful adults only
Well maintained
5 minutes walk to a lovely pub with great food and friendly staff.
Within a half hours drive to Southwold Sutton Hoo and Minsmere

This is an amazing site! Short drive from Aldeburgh.
Being adult only and a small site it is nice and quiet.
Fell asleep listening to a tawney Owl.
The toilets, showers and washing up area are immaculate.
Great pub 5 minute walk with 20 plus ales and 10 ciders.
Won best rural pub of the year 2024.

I stayed at this campsite for 3 nights, as looking for a short break in Suffolk. The communications from Emma (site manager) was very good, although I didn’t actually meet her.
The campsite was peaceful, though I was the only unit there over 3 nights!
It’s self check in, so handy if you travelling up after work and arriving in the evening.
The showers provided hot water, as do the 2 outside (under cover) washing up units.
There are 2 toilets and 2 showers (1 for each sex).
The site holds 20 pitches, I can’t comment what the toilet and shower use be like, if the campsite was full, I am not not in the habit of waiting to use facilities.
The local pub is about 4 minute walk away, though it does have strange opening hours, check before you walk down, as some days they don't open until 5pm and some days they completely closed. If you do go Friday 5-6pm, it's Happy hour 2 drinks for the price of 1. I recommend a hi viz, if you walking back at dark, as there is no pavement for about 1/2 of the journey from campsite to the pub.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Quiet & clean campsite.
The facilities are good.
Emma is friendly and helpful.
Seemed a little pricey (30 pounds for 1 pitch/night), but I presume this applies to caravans also.

Just home from a lovely stay at Sycamore Park with friends.
Pitches are big and level, the site is well maintained and toilets / showers were very clean.
Emma is very quick to answer any questions you may have.
We would definitely book again.
