 Super one-night back-packing stay in a back-to-basics site. Warm friendly welcome.
Hot showers. Clean loos.
Views over to the Roaches.
Off-road footpaths into the farm.
Terraced camping field giving level pitching.
A few scattered large stones ideal for camping stove or sitting.
Ideal for walking, back-packing, climbing and bouldering.

Superb little place in lush location overlooking the hills and fields.
Great little pub a short walk away.
Decent hot showers. Basic but clean and tidy.

Lovely campsite looking towards the rear of the Roaches.
Peaceful and feels much more isolated than it actually is.
Small-ish, terraced site for tents but plenty of room per tent.
Clean, basic, facilities - hot water and shower.
V. Friendly owner. Loads of paths around. Dogs loved it.

Really great campsite, location, and facilities. Host Jane is really lovely!
Absolutely worth a visit if you’re planning on some walks in the peaks or just want a quiet night away.
Plenty of space between you and others camping.

Friendly greeting from Jane, told me where everything was and left me to choose my pitch.
Lovely spot, clean facilities, hot water.
Winking Man pub nearby for decent food.
Recommended.

A great little site and a perfect location for walking The Roaches straight from the campsite!
The facilities were basic but had everything you need, and the host was super friendly.
We would definitely stay again.

Another excellent stay at Hazel Barrow for the North West Area Sea Cadets.
Ideal site for DofE Groups, close to some good walking/cycling routes.
Will be back again in September.

This is a beautiful, minimal, small, quiet campsite.
The owner is lovely and very friendly.
Theres one shower and one toilet. (For both Male and Females)
Brilliant location. Walks straight from campsite.
No electric hook up or anything like that. There's one washing up sink with lovely tasting drinking water.
Parking for about 10 cars. You park away from tent.
It is small and minimal but that is why I love it. Plus the location and beauty of the place.
One of my favourite campsites.

Very nice peaceful small campsite on a working farm.
Flat pitches on a terraced field with wonderful views across to the Roaches.
Just one toilet and shower for each gender but both were clean and the shower was nice and hot/powerful.
The host was welcoming and responsive to emails.

Lovely quiet campsite with great access to lots of footpaths in the area.
Very clean facilities and friendly people on site.
The camping field is a lovely small area of grass on three levels with views of the Roaches and surrounding landscape.
