 Owned by Dutch family so many NL outfits in evidence. Well kept, clean site with good choice of pitches. Excellent pool with adjacent kiddies pool. Toilets and showers spotless and well designed. Beautiful location in sheltered valley surrounded by trees. Great friendly staff speak good English. Only drawback is that site is split into two levels. Walk from lower to reception/shop is steep and challenging for seniors. Small restaurant on site but not tried. Water points slow and long hose needed to fill Aquaroll. Levelling blocks required in some areas. Carrefour approx. 10 minutes away in direction La Voulte; Intermarche is on the Beauchastel-La Voulte road.
Tip: From South exit A7 at #16 and follow D86E out of La Voulte. Then fork left on D120 after La Voulte to go straight into St Laurent. After crossing river into village stay on D120. Proceed slowly as La Garenne signs are small. Look out for yellow Poste sign ahead on your right and turn right up narrow steep lane immediately before the Poste itself.
