It is part of a group of 4 sites under 'Beverly Holidays', and looks to be the oldest part.
It is terraced, with glorious views of Torbay, and is kept immaculate by the wardens, who are great. Nothing is too much trouble.
Although the vans look dated, inside they are clean and tidy and well maintained (though there was a problem with the new dig tv system - it didn't work and this was switch over week!).
The site accommodates tourers but not tents, which is a shame. This part of the site is nice and flat. The toilets and showers again are dated, but with plenty of room. There is a launderette on the park, too, and a small but good children's play park.
There is no shop, but a short walk up a very steep path brings you to Ashvale holiday park, which has a shop, pool, bar, restaurant (adequate) and entertainment. If you carry on thru this park and cross Goodrington Road, you get to the main park - Beverly.
You can purchase club/swimming passes for the parks for £10/van/week, and it's worth it just for the pools!
Locally, there are the beach,shops, garages and takeaways within a 10 -20 min walk away.
There are loads of attractions, such as 'Woodlands', Paignton Zoo, 2 Leisure centres, Living Coasts etc. In the area.
We stayed 4 nights here as part of a Newspaper holiday, and it was THE nicest site we have ever been on. We are hoping to return for a similar hol next easter, and also to camp at Beverley later in the season.
