 Booking was very easy. The camp site were very helpful.
I would definitely recommend and will return next year.
It is a dog friendly site. I cannot comment on the site if campers have young children as we are retired and chose the campsite for the beautiful area.

Good location for walks.
Remote location (car park)
Well equipped for waste etc for a motorhome with its own facilities - but no access to on-site facilities
I loved it but it might not be what everyone is looking for

When we visited this area in 2009, we passed by the village hall en route to Fethaland and I remarked at the time that the car park would be a good overnight stopping off point. Lo & behold it is now!
This is recent addition to the caravan/motorhome friendly sites in Shetland. It is essentially the village hall car park laid to tarmac but with hook up & water supply for 5 units. The nightly rate is £10 and availability seems to be on a first come first served basis. There are no toilets or showers although there is a CDP and refuse disposal area.
Payment is collected by one of the parish council members who passes by the hall on a regular basis.
We stayed two nights and used it as a base for superb walks to Uyea and Fethaland.
