Lovely site in a nice quiet location. Owners very helpful. All pitches were hardstanding. The grass does get very wet and spongy so care needs to be taken not to put a wheel over the edge.
Our biggest disappointment was the lack of wi fi and mobile signal. If you want to get away from all that then this is the perfect place.

Beautiful site and very helpful friendly owners,
Area very nice and highly recommend the Rose and Crown for food it was amazing and our dog was welcomed too, within walking distance!
Our stay here will be a one off though sadly, the road noise was there but not too much of an issue, however the site it is noisy at times due to a neighbours constant barking dog day and night this made our stay very unpleasant.
Otherwise a stunningly beautiful site with great hardstand pitches and electric hookup !
We were asked to pay upfront if we hadn’t if done we may of moved onto to somewhere more quiet, sadly not the owners fault!

Great CL. All pitches were spacious & hard standing (so no boggy underfoot awning carpet).
Only met 1 of the 2 owners (Tony) who was welcoming, friendly & informative, thanks for the recommendation of the Rose & Crown!
1 downside, closer to the road than we would normally like, but not too obtrusive.
Will pitch up again in the future 👍👍

We arrived later than anticipated to Watercress farm caravan site and our immediate thoughts were, well maintained clean bright site. Tony greeted us at the gate with helpful info tucked into a white letter. The site was only half capacity so had no problems pitching up.
Dering woods approx 1 mile away is a must with or without dogs. And top that off with a Harveys at the Rose & Crown and all's good with the world.
All you would hope for now is a decent sunset and a quiet nights sleep. Unfortunately as mentioned the neighbouring dogs meant continual dog barking! It's only for this reason we score this site a 7.
Great stay otherwise.

We stayed at Watercress Farm for 4 nights in April 2019.
Tony was on hand on our arrival to point us in the right direction regarding the site facilities etc. He also handed out a sheet giving guidance on what is on offer in the area.
As others have said, the site has large hardstandings which are well separated from each other. It has EHU’s at each pitch and a water point close by [as well as one near the refuse & CDP]. A perimeter dog walk is also available.
There are quite a few footpaths in the area as well as quiet country lanes for cycling. Dering Wood is close by which is a Woodlands Trust area and was ideal for letting the dogs run loose. Lots of quiet tracks & paths.
The Rose & Crown at Mundy Bois is around a mile away and looked to be busy when we called by. There is also the Dering Arms, close to Pluckley train station, that was a bit of a “step back in time”! The local farm shop was a 10 minute walk away and was well stocked with fresh bread & vegetables. There is also a village store in Pluckley itself as well as a butchers. Newspapers are available at the store.
The only downside to the site, as others have mentioned, was the persistent barking of a neighbours dog[s] which did take the shine off our stay. Not the owners fault but it is something to bear in mind.
Otherwise a super CL with a laid back approach to all matters.
