Ideally situated for Skegness but without the hustle and bustle.
The field that we were on was uneven and full of holes, quite lethal if you fell down one and turned an ankle. The electricity tripped on several occasions which was annoying.
The toilets and showers are in a mobile type unit and were clean and serviceable, unfortunately the other guests were not all as respectful of the facilities as we were.
The village centre has a range of shops and pubs and a railway station where you can get a train to Skegness for a few quid. There are nice countryside walks from site and Batemans Brewery is across the road.

Lots of space
Three separate areas 2 grass and 1 hard standing
The grass areas are fairly flat.
Bus stop just outside the gate and a railway station within 5 mins walk.
15 minutes drive away from Skegness also
Close to the village of Wainfleet which is about 10 minutes walk away, which has a Co-op, 2 Pubs, a Chinese takeaway, a Fish and chip shop, a Kebab pizza takeaway, plus a lovely little cafe which serves a lovely English breakfast.

We stayed here for four nights. This is a large campsite with hardstanding and grass pitches. I was surprised not to find a reception or even a notice board with essential phone numbers. The welcome on arrival was non-existent.
The facilities, although new and of good quality, were far too few for the size of the site - two separate blocks comprising of men's, ladies and washing up. There was only one shower in the ladies and the men's in each block.
There was no playground for children. The site is not family friendly.
We were pitched in the third field - the one furthest from the entrance - and there was certainly a fault in the electric hookups which kept tripping out for no apparent reason.
The person looking after the site (not the owner) was disdainful and unhelpful, readily blaming campers for the tripping out and unwilling to listen.
The price of £24. 00 a night for a grass pitch with electric was reasonable, however the hard standings (at £28. 00/night) were unkempt and full of weeds. The gravel was very coarse, even including parts of house brick!
There was no security on the site - no gate or controlled entrance however each field did have CCTV.
With a little investment this could be a great site. It urgently needs a reception and more than one person responsible for receiving queries. Having a live on warden like club sites would be my answer.

I did a small cycle camping tour and chose this site as fitted my route. Trevor was very friendly and helpful.
The site is geared more towards caravans and motor homes, but I felt at home with my little tent!
Facilities are modern and clean. I would recommend this campsite to all, whether caravanning, motorhoming, or just camping.

Good, clean level pitch with easy walking distance of Wainfleet, which has two pubs serving food and drinks.
Bus stop close by (B7 bus goes to Skegness). Train line goes to Skegness which is convenient. Shop nearby.
Facilities are clean and simple. Very good value.
The rally field has been upgraded with a number of hard standings and a new toilet block which is due to open soon.
It was quiet when we went, though with just two showers in the main block, I would expect queues to develop in busy periods. We had an excellent time here.

A short walk from Bateman’s Brewery which was ideal for us. Definitely worth going on the tour!
Great location just off the A52 and ample facilities for us in our tent. We were free to choose a spot of our choice and get sorted.
Owner very helpful and friendly and didn’t fuss us for the site fee whilst we got set up.
Toilet and shower block were simple but clean and hygienic and the added washroom was very useful for us (in our tent).
Overall we were very pleased with the site and would definitely recommend.
