Very well run site, peaceful, great choice of pitches amidst undulating wild flower meadow.
Miles of safe cycling on scenic country lanes,
Excellent food shops Earsham st Bungay & the razzmatazz of Southwold.
Loved it here.

A great off the grid site, cars left in the car park and equipment transferred to pitches by wheel barrow
Plenty of space between pitches,
Areas mown for the pitch and walk ways the rest left wild,
Compostable toilets kept very clean as were the showers which run of gas, there is no electric all on site.
Joe the owner was very helpful.

An absolutely wonderful site and even better hosting!
The choices of open under the stars camping, posting up a basha in the woods for some isolation, or even glamping if you're into your creature comforts are terrific.
Plenty of space between the pitches and personal campfire facilities make you feel like you're away from the world.
5/5 would go again.
(Also listen out for the owls, they'll spellbound you with their hooting. )

First time to Wardley Hill.
A beautiful setting and ideal location to tour the Norfolk/Suffolk borders.
Joe, the owner, is very helpful, attentive and a great source of local information. The Bull in the Woods micro brewery is only a few minutes walk away - and there are some great pubs a little further afield for lunch.
This is an eco camp so expect basic facilities. Having said that - they were much better than a lot of 'normal' campsites - very clean and excellent hot showers. Other eco campsites should take a leaf out of Wardley Hill's book.
If you like a slower pace of life, under dark, star-studded, skies - this is the place for you.

Lovely site. Very peaceful and quaint, exceptionally well looked after. Basic but all you’d need for a short stay.
The owner was extremely helpful and friendly without being imposing. They allow fires in the pit and pitches are very spaced out.
The facilities are basic so I wouldn’t want a particularly long stay but others may be happy with that.

Lovely campsite! We 'glamped' in the white Lotus Belle tent at Wardley Hill campsite for 3 nights in June 2017. It's a great campsite with a lovely natural feel. Spaced out pitches with the grass left to grow long between, giving a nice secluded feel.
Composting toilets were great (not smelly) and the shower was good.
BBQ's and fire pits allowed.
Joe the owner was really friendly and helpful especially with info about the local area.
I would definitely recommend this site and would happily return

Relaxed, picturesque site. Unmown patches separate the pitches and add to the rustic feel.
We liked the laid back approach, and using wheelbarrows to unpack the car was a novelty(it is car free past a certain point).
Site does slope a bit in places, but nothing to get stoked up about. That's camping!
Toilet and water facilities all ok and the walk to the nearest pub is not bad. Worth the effort.
The scattered firedrums are a great idea.
Thoroughly enjoyed camping here.

This is hands down the best campsite we have been to, so pretty, clean and tidy with everything you would need for a great holiday, the eco toilets take a few goes to get used to but they are cleaner than some public loos ive been in! shower is lovely and being able to pitch where you like is a real bonus, its so quiet and peaceful we will be going back at least twice next year.
The owners are on hand for anything you need, they are so kind and friendly its like camping with friends.
There is big supermarkets down the road and lovely pubs around(one you can walk to)so even though you feel like your in the middle of no where you still have the option to slip back into normal life.
