 A city campsite, but quiet and, at 43 CHF per night, reasonable value for money. Small but adequate pitch; clean modern amenities block, bread to order, small cafe and shop selling cold beer and basics. Small swimming pool. Free tourist transport into (tram nearby) and around Basel. Friendly and helpful at reception. Recommended - excellent site to visit Basel.

Location
This site is the closest available to the city of Basle. It is approximately 20 minutes using the local tram - this is included in the cost of your booking with the site. It's a great city - well worth a visit.
Facilities
This is a large site with a wide range of facilities. There's a bar, pool, local tennis courts and a shop. Toilets and showers are a little dates but more than adequate.
Price
Good value at around 25 euros per night - especially as public transport is included.
