 I love this Aire by the river in Sneem. There is no toilet block or showers and it is only for camper vans and motorhomes.
There are facilities for emptying your toilet cassette, grey waste and getting fresh water.
You ring Sean on your day of travel to see if there is a vacant pitch, we had no trouble getting a pitch for three nights.
At 22 euros with electric hook up the price is excellent, We stayed here in 2022 for one night and I was determined that we would go back again this year and stay longer.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite the torrential rain on one night.
Needless to say that we will be making Goosey Island a regular stop when we next visit Ireland.

Lovely campsite beside the river in the centre of Sneem.
Payment for the the pitch is at the pub across the road €15 +€5 for EHU
Sneem is pretty little village with shops, bars and restaurants.
Campsite has water and waste and chemical disposal but no shower or toilet facilities.
Still no rubbish bins. Definitely recommended though.

Gorgeous campsite beside the river.
Located in the centre of Sneem so everything on your doorstep.
Check in was easy and payment at the bar opposite.
Loved Sneem, it was pretty and vibrant. Lots of shops, bars and restaurants.
Campsite had water and waste/chemical disposal.
No rubbish bins but one of the staff from the pub did a rubbish collection in the evening.
Highly recommended.
