Lovely small touring site just south of Telford, 8 mins to International Centre or Asda Superstore. On the way to Ironbridge.
Good facilities, showers only stay on for 10 seconds so lots of button pressing.
Shower block quite old / could do with modernising, but all very functional, and very clean.
Very friendly / warm welcome.

We loved the informality of this site and being able to have a fire.
This site is at the top of a very steep hill, up from Ironbridge. The views were slightly disappointing but look out for the Lama's, Reindeers and Shire horse in the neighbouring field.
The owner is very friendly and there are plenty of toilets and showers. Plus 2 outdoor washing up sinks.
This is really a tent site. We were the only van, situated next to a smelly stable. No cars are allowed on the grass so campers have to barrow their packing and tents to their pitch.
Shops and pubs are down in Ironbridge but be prepared for a long hilly walk back. There's a lovely cafe and museum - The Furnis - 10 mins walk away.
All that said a good little site.

Good welcome, lovely views.
Unfortunately I did not feel the site lived up to it's Website promise or it's price.
Everywhere seemed unloved and untidy. Scruffy static caravan and barn frame.
The Facilities building and the glamping pods etc, looked in need of a little TLC.
Facilities are fairly clean, but could not see anything appealing, especially the showers, just empty cubicles.

Layout of site good. Toilets easily accessible. Terraced pitches on the lefthand field gave the feeling of space. Second large field to the right also contained the glamping pods.
The welcome from owner James was excellent.
The only slight negative was the absence of an automatic sensor light at the side of the barn housing the toilets - the return to your pitch in the dark was a little precarious without a torch.
Lots of walking from the site - we didn't need to drive. A nearby field with a footpath was useful for off-lead dog exercise as there were no farm animals present.
Ironbridge is an interesting place with a Co-op, chip shop, independent shops and restaurants. Walked to Coalport along old rail line. Lovely stay.
Highly recommend.

The campsite had a different area for couples without children other than the main field for families.
Showers were very roomy and lovely hot water or cold too, although only 3 in the ladies I didn't wait at all.
Recycling also encouraged
Chest freezer for your freezer blocks or ice cubes etc
4 usb charging points for phones etc
A local pub called Coal Brookdale Inn about a mile away, although downhill going a little steep coming back
A nice countryside walk into Ironbridge about 20-25 mins
Overall I would stay again

Irongorge is a lovely place. Good bus service to Telford.
Plenty of pubs. Lovely site with clean facilities, fires, firewood for sale, helpful people.
Real camping.
Wifi and charging points available but personally I try to get away from it all.

Irongorge is a great little campsite. Friendly owner James.
Flat pitches and the centre of the field is kept open for kids to play.
20 min walk into Ironbridge. Free showers and firepits.
Basic but clean facilities.
Only one shower running and it wasn't draining. Jim arrived afterwards to fix it.

This is a peaceful location with friendly, helpful staff and spotlessly clean showers and toilets. Piping hot water too!
A short walk to Ironbridge.
Thanks for a lovely stay!

We chose a 4 berth pod but would go with our tent too. The owner has set up 8-10 huge pitches for tents too. Electric and fire pits available.
Simple review this. WOW. Perfect site. Simple clean facilities. Friendly helpful owner. Stunning location. All pitches round the outside leaving a great area for kids to socialise in the middle.
On a summers eve with 10 or so fires going round the outside and kids playing. It was just PERFECT
