Part of the harbour complex at Willemsoord, the pitches are all hard-standing next to the harbour master office. There is ehu for 12 but several other parking spots without electric. Ehu is paid for with €1 tokens - we found €1 lasted just over 24 hours.
The showers / loos were immaculate, very new and piping hot water, included in the overnight price. There is a motorhome service point for empty and fill and chem disp. Wifi is free and a good service.
The Dutch Naval museum is a few yards away and includes the chance to go inside a submarine. There is also a frigate and an old fashioned schooner which are moored right in front of the pitches, the latter serves as a cafe with great cakes.
Ferries for the island of Texel leave less than half a mile away, the town centre with plenty of shops is less than 1/2 a mile in the other direction.
For the price of €10 per night all in (except the ehu) it was a bargain. Loads to do and see in the harobur alone with a couple of other museums and the light-ship Texel on the opposite end. The harbour is still partly used by the Dutch Navy and was therefore very secure.
