This was our first foray into Spain, so it is with regret that we didn't like this site too much. First, the positives.
The location is great, on the banks of a small river in a valley of the Pyrenean foothills. Reception was friendly, as was the bar/restaurant area - both spoke English to varying degrees. Two pools, one indoor. The site is split into two areas - mostly statics near reception, and the better pitches.
The larger area is further back, and clearly used by many Spaniards as a weekend retreat. There were quite a few old wrecks of vans around, and assorted gazebo frames and other shelters; it may have been the time of year, but many were covered with green deposits from the trees, that had been there for some time. The toilet blocks are old, and lacking in light - slab-like concrete constructions. In parts it felt rather derelict - maybe later in the season it might be better; at least one family was out with a jet washer.
The worst aspect was the wiring. I checked for polarity, to find a lack of earth connection - in more than one bollard. When I reported the issue, I gathered there was an issue with the 6A rating- she said they had wanted to provide a 10A supply but funds had dried up. As this wasn't what I was reporting on, I gave up the discussion. We left early in the morning.
