 We were lucky enough to have one of the grassed pitches at one end of the site which were quite nice as our stay coincided with a heatwave and so could sit outside and find shade under the trees.
We were greeted warmly by the site hosts throughout and the fees were good value (particularly with the Caravan Club next door wanting £59 per night for non-members).
I didn't like the pot washing facility which was basically an uncovered double stainless sink with only cold water provided.
We absolutely loved Moffat which is a gem of a town.

A decent site about 10 minutes walk from town centre. There's a good cafe and shop on site. There's a car park away from the pitches where you must leave your car.
Showers were quite good and cost 50p for 5 minutes.
Moffat has a few good places to eat and many allow well behaved dogs.
I would return here if coming to Moffat again.

Very quiet site. Close to Moffat centre. Short walk.
Toilet block spotless and in good order.
Liked the No. plate recognition evening access through barrier entry. Would have preferred to have my car next to caravan rather that 50 metres away in car park area. Hard standings and car park just stoned up and could be better. Grass areas could be tidier.
Suited us fine. Due to the quiet and close proximity to town we will go back.
Oh by the way the internet connection was fine. It was an extra but at these prices I have no serious complaints.

Much improved site since our 1st visit a few years ago. The booking process is a bit unnecessarily complicated.
However we booked a non ehu, Aire pitch at £12 a night, which is very good value.
The site is now barrier controlled, so no boy racers coming in the evenings.
The pitches are now properly divided with fencing. Very quiet night.
The toilet/showers were locked due to very cold temperatures.
Moffat is a lovely town, with plenty cafes, shops and pubs.
Great walks from the site.
Recommend the Annandale way.
A great stopover, we will be back.

Lovely clean facilities, convenient location.
Plenty of shops and pubs an easy walk to Moffat making it an ideal stopping off point.
Our second visit and we will return next time we’re heading north.
Slight annoyance was a barking dog overnight but not on the site so not their fault at all.

Good location within short walk to town.
The insistence to arrive before 5pm when they close the barrier is oppressive. Surely they could have a key code lock and give the code to paying customers, and change the code regularly.
The toilet block was clean.
Clear instructions were given where to pitch and park car.

The site was great but can’t get your car out of site after 5. 30 as you don’t get a code for barrier
But the site was good and I ordered a breakfast and the gentleman delivered it to my caravan and it was great value for money
I will definitely be back again

We rented a motorhome for a weekend to attend a family wedding. We really needed somewhere to empty our chemical tank however not a lot of places would offer it without staying the night, often for quite high prices.
We were willing to stay the night if we needed to in order to be able to empty the tank and fill up our water.
The team were very helpful over the phone and the sight was easy to access and find.
Team were helpful when we arrived and we had a good spot to stay.
The site is in easy walking distance of many of the main local amenities in Moffat.
Unfortunately the site closes at 7pm with a barrier that you are not allowed to open after this time.
We had gone exploring in the motorhome to a loch and unfortunately lost track of time so would not make it back by that curfew so did not want to return as we did not want to break the rules.
Therefore would recommend staying here only if you do not want to travel anywhere in a vehicle.

Lovely small clean site which is well laid out friendly staff. Only a 10 minute walk into town.
Toilets were kept clean but only 2 ladies and 2 gents there was a queue 1st thing in the morning.
Food in the cafe was fresh and cooked well.
The only negative was the playground having no access after 5pm but we were directed to another park 5 minutes away

Hard standing for campervans is basically a car park with no privacy or greenery between pitches, surrounded by other cars and looking onto the toilet block.
30 plus campervans (plus tents) and only 2 toilets for men and 2 toilets for women mean that there is usually a queue.
The barrier is only open between 9am and 5pm. Keith this time you need a code. But you don't need a code for the toilets.
