 The manager was extremely friendly and helpful and explained that the site is mostly seasonal. It is 65yrs old and very little has been done during that time!
The showers were clean and warm though and we parked just inside with plenty of room. I found it strange that the toilets had no loo roll, so you had to take your own. Also none of the taps - hot or cold- worked without a keycard. Hot water was limited but I’m quick in the shower anyway so we managed with our ‘allowance’.
Some work was due to be done on site but it would take a major overhaul to bring it up to standard.
For one night it was fine, located just off the motorway and we found good dog walks and shops close by.
